VHS to DVD

I have home videos that were taken when I was 3, and of course, there on VHS. I do have a VHS/DVD player, so I would like to somehow record the VHS tape to DVD and then somehow upload it on my computer. I have blank DVDs and my computer is capable of taking DVDs. So I basically need help on how to convert from vhs to dvd and then on the computer. It's for a project, so any info would be appreciated!

Is your VVHS/DVD player a recordable DVD player? If it isnt then you wont be able to do it. You need a recordable DVD player to burn dvds or cds. You can get one and plug in your VHS player and burn it that way.
