i get really oily skin, is there any home remedies that could make it better? I have bought som products but is there anything else i can do? Because once it gets oily, it is just attracted to dirt and i end up with pimples all over my nose
Try applying clean & clear to your face & leave it on there for about five to ten minutes, simply wash it off with a wash cloth using very hot water & apply some good lotion.

KEEP YOURSELF CLEAN!
Throughly wash yourself when taking baths or showers. Try washing your face often as well.

In the morning I make sure to clean my face very well and then use a light weight moisturizer before I put on my make-up. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a fool-proof way to have oil free skin.
You could also go see a dermatologist to take care of the acne on your nose. My dermatologist prescribed me products called DUAC and DIFFERIN. It's prescription medicine so you are going to have to see a dermatologist and see what they recommend.
TheGivingTree answered Friday July 11 2008, 4:40 pm: well i have the opposite problem- my skin is usually too dry. two things i can suggest for when my skin DOES get oily: wash your face with warm water with some salt in it. Salt naturally dries up your skin and pimples and i haven't known anyone to have a reaction to saltwater! and secondly, make sure you use a good moisturizer, one that wont leave your skin oily. EasyPeasy answered Friday July 11 2008, 4:39 pm: With oily skin, you really need to think of what the oiliness means. Perhaps it's dehydrated? Try a super hydrating moisturizer that's oil free, make sure your cleanser isn't too harsh, and that your toner doesn't contain alcohol. (Alcohol tightens your pores temporarily but leads to more oil.)
I began to nurture my skin rather than fight it, and I have noticed some changes. I always keep powder or blotting papers on hand, though. [ EasyPeasy's advice column | Ask EasyPeasy A Question ]
LOL_x0x answered Friday July 11 2008, 4:08 pm: Well, I don't know of any home remedies, but have you tried Oil Abosorbing Sheets? I think they're by Clean & Clear. Anyways, they work really well, and they're small so you can take them everywhere with you.
