1. Eye primer helps make your eyeshadow last longer. especially if you have oily lids.
2. You might try looking at target or walgreeens for the Jane liner.

Well I got my period in april and it's already july and I haven't gotten it again so i'm worried cause I don't know if this is normal. Please help me i'm really worried. thanks (link)
|
Don't worry! This is completely normal! When I first got my period it was irregular for the first couple of months. Everyone's body is different.
|
Is there any site that you can like... put your picture in and generate the picture of someone who looks like you? Preferably normal people, but celebrities would be okay too. It just seems cool.
thanks in advance!

whats the point of a hickey? why do people do them? (link)

Honestly, I really don't know. I think it is completely unnatractive as well as disgusting.
I would never give someone a hickey or let them give me one.

i hate my body. and i try so hard to loose weight. the past 2 weeks i've been eating so healthy. salads everyday. lunch and dinner. and i was running in the morning. and active through out the day. nothing...didn't loose any kind of weight. my stomach still looks like a fat piece of flab and i still have love handles...i was hoping to maybe loose a pound or 2 but not even that. i stayed the same.
i'm so tempted to go bulimic and i know thats not the answer but its so tempting because i know i would loose weight doing that. i've thought about it and i would only try to do it 2 times a week....
**besides the past 2 weeks. i've been working out since march and i do eat healthy. sometimes i do cheat and eat junk. but thats barely ever... (link)
|
First off, please please please do not become bulimic! The media is very misleading and fat (unfortunately) doesn't just melt off like everyone says it does. It sounds like your doing all the right things, eating healthy, exercising, etc. Keep doing what your doing and stay confident. If your looking for that extra boost you might consider getting a nutritionist. They are experts at eating right, portion size, etc.
Good luck & don't give up!

16/f. my boyfriend(17) and i have only been dating for about two months but we've known each other for about two years so we tell each other everything. he's been having some family problems lately. he lives with his dad, step mom and four siblings. his parents are really strict with him and hes always miserable because he never has time to do anything and hes always grounded for things that he cant help with. he works two jobs and when hes not working he has to stay at home with his brothers and sisters. im always trying to make him feel better but i just dont know what to tell him anymore. i tell him that things will get better but he doesnt believe it anymore and im not sure that i do either. his step mom tells everyone to clean and he does so that we can hang out but he ends up being the only one to clean and then he gets yelled at for the house not being in perfect condition when she gets home. i mean when hes the only one doing anything the house isnt going to be perfect in just a few hours. i really have no idea what to tell him anymore. i want to make him feel better but i have no idea how to comfort him. i let him know that im here for him and everything but i just dont know. any advice will help. thanks so much for reading this and sorry about the length. (link)
|
This probably isn't what you wanted to hear...but that's all you really can do, is be there for him. You might also remind him that when he turns 18 he is free =D Sometimes family situations suck, believe me i know! All you really can do is hope that things get better and be there for him when he needs you. So far, it doesn't sound like you're doing anything wrong.
Be strong,
and i wish you the best of luck!

i bought this perfume and it smells like cherry vanilla (more like vanilla) and i love the smell but i was wondering if guys like the scent vanilla. i have a couple perfumes and a bunch of body sprays and stuff but i really like my vanilla perfume. the thing is i want to create a 'scent'. which means you always wear a hint of a certain smell. because people arent supposed to wear different smells everyday arent they? and vanilla is subtle but a nice smell you can pick up on. but i really want to have a scent that guys like. please help me with this whole scent and perfume thing cause obviously im just goin off of what i think. so ya just explian this whole scent thing to me and then please someone tell me what scents guys like!! (link)

Vanilla scents are good..but you might also try "Burberry Brit" and "Hanae Mori" Those are definitely two of my all time favorites. And I always get compliments!
Good Luck!

how do you get rid of hickeys?
i tried icing it last night.. didn't work so well. i mean it's not a big deal because i made up some lie about why it's there when my parents asked but my friends won't believe me and i don't wanna walk around looking like a slut. i'm gonna put make up on it obviously but anything else i can do to make the redness go away? k thankss (link)
|
There's not much you can do but just wait it out. Your hickey will eventually dissapear. But personally, I think that if you weren't too embarassed to recieve a hickey than you shouldn't be embarassed to let people see it.

I'll be starting my senior year this September. For the past few years I have been racking my brain on careers that I would like to pursue, and so far, i'm still clueless.
I took an online Career Aptitude Test, and I liked the results I got. It said I should consider a career in Social Sciences/Services. (Social Worker, Family & Children Therapist, Human Service Assistant, etc.)
I would love to do something like that, but I was wondering what kind of College classes I would need to take, and what requirements I would need to do to get a job. I am brain dead when it comes to any kind of math, so one thing I would really like to know is what kind of math classes would be needed. Any information is greatly appreciated. (link)

I would suggest talking to one of your college counselors. That's what I did. And believe me, they can help you a lot more than you think.

does he do tours? because i want to see him!
if he does, can you find out when / how much tickets are? i cant find anything (link)

Did you try ticketmaster.com? Considering Lil Wayne is a popular artist I would expect to spend anywhere from $50 and up.
Good luck!

well i kissed my friends x and i didnt know that she still liked him and now she hates my guts ihave said sorry so much but she still wont forgive me i dont know what to do please help (link)
|
I know that when I am very upset, I just want to be left alone. Do you think that you have given your friend enough time and space? I hate to tell you this but the word "sorry" is said so much these days that it has almost become meaningless. People usually don't respond when someone tells them they are sorry over and over again because they have already heard it many times before in past conflicts/problems.
The best thing you can do is give your friend TIME and SPACE. I would also avoid contact with her ex. Do something for your friend that shows you are sorry. For example, a card, scrapbook of all the good times you guys had together, etc.
Good luck!

i get really oily skin, is there any home remedies that could make it better? I have bought som products but is there anything else i can do? Because once it gets oily, it is just attracted to dirt and i end up with pimples all over my nose (link)
|
I have the EXACT same problem. You might try oil absorbtion sheets or carry face wipes with you. In the morning I make sure to clean my face very well and then use a light weight moisturizer before I put on my make-up. Unfortunately, I don't think there is a fool-proof way to have oil free skin.
You could also go see a dermatologist to take care of the acne on your nose. My dermatologist prescribed me products called DUAC and DIFFERIN. It's prescription medicine so you are going to have to see a dermatologist and see what they recommend.
Good luck!

Ok... Here's my problem. It's probably one of the more stupid questions on the site but here it goes. My parents and I get along for the most part, but my whole life I've grown up in a very ultra liberal open-minded union house hold. But the problem is I'm starting to question the beliefs I've grown up on. For example; The Patriot Act, parts of it I agree with like scanning people's e-mails for potential hazardous situations that could occur. Or even the whole death penalty issue... I'm so scared to open up to my parents on an issue like this. Like if I told them I was a lesbian; which I'm not, they would probably be more okay with that then to hear I could possibly be turning more moderate. Like there's things I agree and disagree with on both sides. But it's like there always talking politics and I feel like I'm lying to myself and to them saying that I completely agree with them. Like my dad has even said that the only way I could rebel is to become a republican, but I'm not questioning things because of that... How should I approach this situation? Please help me. Any advice you guys could give me I would be so greatful for. (link)
|
First of all, any person should be entitled to their own opinion. Your parents might not like the idea of you going against what they believe...but you shouldn't feel obligated to agree with them 24/7. I can see how the situation you are in could be very difficult.
I would suggest talking to your parents about how you feel at dinner or in a situation where the atmosphere is fairly calm. Try not to yell it at them or get very defensive. Tell them how you feel in a calm and civilized manner.
If they aren't willing to listen then maybe try another time or keep telling them until they hear you.
Good luck!

when is the best time of day to work out?
when is the time that you're going to lose the most weight...does it matter? (link)
|
In my opinion, the best time of day to work out is in the morning. You may feel tired when you get up but eat an appropriately portioned and healthy breakfast and then hop on that treadmill or go for a quick jog. The key is not to eat something un-healthy after you have exercised.
For example, my dad exercises and then eats afterwards because he thinks that because he has just exercised it is okay if he has a little snack. Not realizing that he has just defeated the purpose of EXERCISE. To burn calories.
When I work out I get on the treadmill for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night before I go to bed. Not only do I feel better but I sleep better as well.
Also, throughout the day eat small portions of healthy food frequently.
Good luck!

I joined Curves a few weeks back along with Camp Curves, which officially started last week. Basically you earn points in various ways for the cabin you are placed in. I've been trying to earn as many points as possible so we can win in the end, but I am having an awful time in the creativity department.
I am trying to make a motivational Camp Curves poster for our cabin--Purple Pride.
I have no idea what to put on it. I want to make it eye-catching so I was going to pick up some purple glitter, but that's as far as I can think of--seriously!
What should go on this motivational poster anyway?
Curves is about totally changing your entire lifestyle--eating healthier, working out, losing weight, etc. I can't figure out what to make the poster about.
Any ideas on what to put on the poster that would be motivational or inspirational? (link)
|
The first place I would start is google. Trust me, I'm not the most creative person either.
Type in the search bar "motivational quote, health" or something to that effect. I searched and there seemed to be some good websites.
People are more willing to read posters that are short, sweet, and to the point. So don't write long paragraphs or anything.
By the way, glitter sounds like a great idea! It will definitely be a great eye-catcher.
Good luck!

Our youth group has had this video scavenger hunt going for a week now, and the winning team gets a special retreat at the lake to relax and have fun. We get 500 points, which would put us in the lead, if a girl from our team gets a swirly, where they stick your head in the toilet and flush it. I volunteered to be the girl for that, but the more I think about it, the more I'm not so sure. Do you think it will suck as badly as I am afraid it might or will it just be funny? What should I expect from it, besides wet hair? (link)
|
I have never gotten a swirly before...so i'm not exactly sure what you should expect. In my opinion, anything involving sticking your head in a toilet is going to be completely disgusting. But, if your team really wants to win the lake retreat then someone has to volunteer to do it right? Honestly, I think the only ones who will think the swirly is funny is everyone but yourself. Not really my idea of fun... but if your up to it.. i say go for it. I guess try to have fun and make sure to take a hot shower afterwards :)
Let me know how it goes!

Im 15 years old and so is my best friend. She is a grade older then me and her sweet 16 is coming up mid November. She doesn't liek her birthday date because it is in the middle of winter so it's hard to find thigns to do. I want to do something really special for her birthday, as well as her party and I was thinking to maybe bring her to a spa or something. I was wonderring how much do spa treatments usually cost, as well as how much the average manicure/pedicure costs?
We were thinking about renting a rec center or small building to have a dance or something and have it in the spring (my 16th is in the spring) and jsut combine the two birthdays. Do you think this would be a good idea?
Lastly, I was jsut wonderring what would be some nice present ideas, I was thinking about maybe making a cute video or scrapbook or something, any other ideas? I want to make sure she, adn her guests have fun for her birthday, any ideas of things to do or thigns I can get her are greatly appreiciated.
Any ideas/answers welcome :)
Thank You
15th going on 16 :) (link)

To answer your first question, the cost of spa treatments vary depending on where you go. To be on the safe side..I would expect to spend at least $200 or more for the both of you if you plan on getting a mani/pedi/etc. You might try going to this website and entering your zip code to find a spa near you...
http://www.dayspafyi.com/
Personally, I wouldn't mind sharing my sweet 16 with someone else as long as they were willing to chip in as far as cost goes. Make sure that your friend is okay with that idea first. I think it would be a GREAT idea because then you can have twice as many people come and it would be a lot more fun. It will then be almost guaranteed the party won't get boring. Don't forget music that everyone will like (get a DJ if you can) and lots of food :)
From experience, I know that people appreciate gifts more that come from the heart. A scrapbook sounds like a great idea. It is something that your friend can keep for a long time and always remember the fun memories you guys had together.
Good luck with the party planning, etc.
HAPPY SWEET 16 (in advance) ;)

ok got this gril i like and were really close friends and its a real turn off to me that she smokes cause it is decusting and waste of money and harmful.... even if nothing happens with us what can i say to get her to quit...i have asked her before and she has for a while then started back up what should i do and what can isay to let her no its not worth it!! (link)
|
Knowing from experience, you can't force someone to break a bad habit. They have to make the decision to quit on their own. I know it sucks but all you can do is let the girl know that you care about her and wishes she would stop.
Good luck!

Hi, this is an odd request, but i have a quick question for ya'll.
My brother is 17 and he never lifts the seat on the toilet. It drives me crazy.
I have asked him politely many times to lift the seat for obvious reasons...i have to SIT on that SEAT!
I am starting to get really mad.
Does anyone have any tricks or ANYTHING i can do to break his gross habit?
It would be VERY appreciated!
Thanks! (link)
|
As you have probably already figured out..he is either trying to annoy you or just doesn't care. First of all, is there another toilet in the house that you can use? And if your really desperate..you might consider just taking the toilet seat off all together. Then he won't have a choice on whether or not to lift the lid. Good luck!

Does anyone know any home remedies to make your hair softer? You know, using things you could find in the kitchen. Thanks a lot! (link)
|
Try putting olive oil in your hair for 10-15 minutes and then rinsing it out really well in the shower. Some of my friends have used this technique and says it works great!
