You may feel tired when you get up but eat an appropriately portioned and healthy breakfast and then hop on that treadmill or go for a quick jog. The key is not to eat something un-healthy after you have exercised.
For example, my dad exercises and then eats afterwards because he thinks that because he has just exercised it is okay if he has a little snack. Not realizing that he has just defeated the purpose of EXERCISE. To burn calories.
When I work out I get on the treadmill for 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes at night before I go to bed. Not only do I feel better but I sleep better as well.
Also, throughout the day eat small portions of healthy food frequently.
