older brother's gross habit

Hi, this is an odd request, but i have a quick question for ya'll.
My brother is 17 and he never lifts the seat on the toilet. It drives me crazy.
I have asked him politely many times to lift the seat for obvious reasons...i have to SIT on that SEAT!
I am starting to get really mad.
Does anyone have any tricks or ANYTHING i can do to break his gross habit?
It would be VERY appreciated!

As you have probably already figured out..he is either trying to annoy you or just doesn't care. First of all, is there another toilet in the house that you can use? And if your really desperate..you might consider just taking the toilet seat off all together. Then he won't have a choice on whether or not to lift the lid. Good luck!

Leave disgusting things on the toilet seat so he understands how you feel.

Try lifting the seat yourself after you're done using it, and see if he leaves it up. I know it's annoying for you to have to lift the seat when you use it, but it's better than him peeing on it by accident. If he leaves the seat up after you have lifted it, then he is just lazy. If he puts it back down when he uses the bathroom, then he is doing it on purpose to annoy you.
