Disconnected answered Monday May 19 2008, 1:02 pm: A close guy friend said to me
''Even though you are insane in your own little way, everyone loves it in their own little way''

And that is why I'm friends with my best friend ;]
I also know that while this isn't exactly advice, there's a line in a song by The Rocket Summer that I pretty much love:
"On dark and stormy days, somewhere it's glowing."
Siren_Cytherea answered Sunday May 18 2008, 6:45 pm: My choir director gave me this one. Every time we'd warm up and start to hit some high notes, he'd say "Come on, sopranos! No guts, no glory!" to make sure we didn't back off and squeak instead of actually sing. Lol
It turned into "No regret. No remorse. No guts, no glory."
Everything that happens, every choice you make has made you who you are, and will shape the person you will become in the future. If you changed anything you'd be completely different. Charge into life. Love it for what it is, and follow your instincts.
That's what I've learned over the years.

"When one door closes, another always opens"
"Trust in what you believe, not in what others think or say"
"You are your own judge, only you can make the decisions you want, nobody else can"
"If a kindness to you has been shown: pass it on. For it was not meant to be for thee alone"
