one of my best friends has a girlfriend that i think is fake. He wont answer any questions about her like if i say "How did you guys meet?" hell say "Bee quiet!" or if i say "I think i know her whats her last name?" hell say "NOne of your business shes form out of town". and you get the picture, i dont understand were really good friends. Also he hsant told any of his other friends about this. except me, so i dont know if hes lying or not. Because every time i bring her up, he either snaps at me, doesn't answer me, or changes the subject. Im really confused here. I know him, if he really had a girlfriend, everyone whould know about it!!

I agree that maybe he is trying to make you jealous because he may like you?
However, I personally, wouldn't fall for that crap. If he feels he has to lie and play games to try to express he likes you, rather than being man enough to admit it, then he isn't man enough to have a mature relationship.
I don't know if that is his aim, but that is my speculation.

Well there are only 2 decent theories and you know them anyway.
1. It's all a load of crap.
2. He just doesn't want to tell you about her.
What to do?
Nothing. If he wants to make up junk - let him.
If he doesn't want to tell you about her - fine.
If he actually is lying, he will soon get bored of it if you don't show any interest. Don't ask him about her or anything. See if it makes him talk to you freely about her.. or admit he's lying.

I think he may want some attention from you. He is probably wondering what you would do or say if he had a girlfriend and kept quiet about it. He probably wants to get something out of you. Any signs of jealously or having a crush on him sort of thing. If you're good friends and he didn't tell anyone else.. then something must be up. So he could like you or want you to get closer to him.. enough to dig that information out. Maybe he is dating someone elsewhere, different school or out of state. It could be online dating and he may be embarrassed about it. But the first one seems a bit more real. I would just wait it out and see what happens. A couple of my guy friends do online dating at a young age. Seems a bit unrealistic though.

i think he is lying it really sounds like he is lying about his girlfriend he problay dosnt have one and if he is your best friend he would be telling you all about her but all he is saying is be quite and stuff than i dont think he really has one ask him if he is lying and if he says be quite than say if you were really my best friend than you would say somthing other than be quite i guess you really arnt my friend at all and walk away and if he really does care about you he will catch up with you trust me he will its not just one o those stupid girl sayings its true ok good luck i hope i helped and i hope your friend will start telling you what you want to hear good luck
