Even this may be pricey,I would recommend changing your shampoo and conditioner and using salon products such as Paul Mitchell, Biolage or the Regis Olive oil shampoo and conditioner(the olive oil conditioner works like a charm). I would recommend using a leave in conditioner after washing your hair. what I'm using now is the biolage hydra seal leave in creme and it works really well.

I would recommend that you make a avocado hair mask. I tried it before and it worked for my hair.

[From Cosmopolitan] To whip up an avocado hair mask, mash one very ripe avocado, 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil, a banana and an egg (the last two are also very moisturizing) together in a blender. Blend until the mask has the texture of a cake batter, with no chunks. Apply one quarter of the mask to dry locks for 10 minutes, then shampoo and condition as usual.

Here is a simple recipe that works just as well:
In a small bowl, mash and combine: 1 avocado (1/2 for shorter hair)
1 egg yolk
1/2 teaspoon olive oil

Apply to hair and allow to remain 30 minutes or longer, then shampoo and condition as usual.

Here is another natural remedy but I'm not sure if this one works as well as the avocado mask:

A nourishing conditioner for dry or damaged hair which can be used for all hair types: Separate the white of an egg from the yolk, whip it to a peak. Add 1 Tbls. water to the yolk and blend until the mixture is creamy. Then mix the white and yolk together. Wet your hair with warm water, remove the excess moisture, and apply the mixture to your scalp with your fingertips. Massage gently until the froth is worked into your scalp, then rinse the hair with cool water. Keep applying the mixture until it is used up and then rinsed until all of the egg is washed away.

I hope that I helped!

I use Herbal Essances "Hello Hydration" when my hair gets dry. It's cheap and it works. I dye my hair ALOT and I straighten it almost everyday, so my hair gets pretty dry sometimes. It works really good. I reccomend any Herbal Essances products. Hope I helped. =]

Go out and purchase:
*Nourishing shampoo for dry/damaged hair.
*Conditioner for dry/damaged hair.
*A mask for your hair which you can apply every week/2 weeks/month depending on the dryness of your hair. (I use one with coconut oil in because it conditions very well making it smoother and more manageable)
They're not even expensive. Just have a decent look around next time you're out shopping for products which match your hair type and are in your price range.

As for other things you can do to help, here are a few tips, including home remedies:
*If you wash your hair daily - don't. You're stripping your hair of it's natural oils and that will only make it dryer.
*Using mayonnaise works as a conditioner. I haven't personally tried this but I know it's a fact if you leave it on no longer than an hour, it helps alot.
*Spraying beer on your hair after you've shampooed and conditioned will also work. Again, I haven't tried this but read alot about it. The smell also goes once it's dried.
*Same goes for massaging 2 egg yolks into your hair, then rinsing.
*If you use straighteners/hair dryers, put hair protector on first.
*Get the ends of your hair trimmed.
*Eat well. Get all your daily vitamins.
