it has two different meanings but it depends on who your talking to. some people think of it as meaning to have sex, the other is to make out. but then of course there's like lets hook up and go to the mall like lets get together but i have a feeling thats not what was meant.

There are so many definations for hook up with somebody. But this is how I look at it. Hooking up with someone is basically kissing, touching, feeling up etc when your NOT going out. Including sex when your not going out. Hope I helped!<3

Hooking up, to most people means doing something sexual. As in : making out ; oral sex ; or sex ; ect.

To me, I think it means strictly sex.

Three meanings:

-to start going out, being boyfriend/girlfriend
-to make out with someone (most common meaning of hook up)
-to have sex with someone

Basically, different schools use different meanings.

Hooking up could be:

- Kissing/making out.
- Oral sex.
- Handjobs.
- The whole shabang aka SEX.

So if you hook up with somebody, you'd be doing either of those things.
