does anyone know is blockbuster hires underage persons? im 17 and looking for a summer job to pay for college. aslo any idea how much they would pay? and is there anything i should know about, like tips, if hired this would be my first job. thanks

Dress somewhat casual but nice at the same time. They may ask you if you watch a lot of movies (a lot of employees are asked by customers for ideas on what to rent)...
Michele answered Thursday June 21 2007, 8:28 am: I think 17 is old enough to work at blockbuster. After all there are is no dangerous equipment that you have to work with. They probably pay minimum wage, and since I don't know what State you live in, I can't tell you what that will be. You can look it up though, on the department of labor website for your state. They may require you to take a drug test. Many employers do that today.
