I think it is, though it makes it harder to leave. But it shows how much they like having you around, which it's always nice to know that someone cares about you so much they don't want you to go. :)

I've moved. & I know that if someone were to say that to me, I'd be frustrated. I know you probably wouldn't mean it literally like, "Oh, just stay!" But, it would probably upset me more.
