I don't want to brag, I just want to tell the truth. I am thin for my age and height. Every morning, I wake up and go to the bathroom, and my stomach is really sucked in. I like it because I look skinny. Then I eat until it is pushed out to a certain point, then I won't eat for the rest of the day so that my stomach will go back down. I just drink tons of water that just flushes out of my body the next morning, and I eat little things like a box of raisins or a bag of kettle corn, which are only about 100 calories each, so they don't really do anything.
Is this unhealthy or is this normal? Everyone calls me skinny. Half of me says "You are skinny. Don't worry about eating", and the other half says "You are fat and ugly. Look at your stomach. You just ate 2 slices of pizza". I feel guilty after eating large portions.
So is this normal or not, and if it isn't, what advice do you have for me?
and you're so much taller.
and we weigh the same.
i bet you do get this all the time, but take it from me. you dn't want to be annorexic.
i know you might not think you are or will be, but you are well on your way. i usedd to be like this too. and then i'd go days and days for not eating, you don't want to do this to yourself.
i know it might not seem like it could happen, but it really can.
andd pizza? who cares. =] pizza is pizza every human should eat it. don't feel guilty. and if you do. then just EXERCISE, or the next day eat HEALTHY, don't starve yourself =[
eating 5-6 small portions a day is very healthy. so if you want try that

You're on the way to an eating disorder. If these eating behaviors of yours started within the past 6 months, expect to be diagnosed with anorexia within the next 4 months. I'd say that once you get to around 105(just an estimate) you can get diagnosed with anorexia
Girls who suffer from eating disorders or are going to develop one soon don't think logically. I'm not trying to be an asshole here, I'm just stating the truth. So since you can't think logically, you don't realize that being 115 and 5 9 is severely underweight and those who call you fat are just making fun of you and your (lack of) eating habits.
It's not normal. I suggest you start eating healthier, try to get in at least 1500 calories day an exercise. Try doing cross country next year or track? Eating healthy and exercising will make you a lot happier than starving yourself and getting diagnosed with anorexia and hospitalized. [ TheWallflower's advice column | Ask TheWallflower A Question ]
MAK answered Thursday June 7 2007, 3:32 pm: You are underweight:
Because your stomach is so sucked in, anything you eat will add volume to your stomach, thus making it look bloated. To solve this, you should gain weight until your stomach is no longer sucked-in looking. It will make your figure look more attractive, and you will be able to eat more without your stomach becoming bloated. Whatching what you eat, or sport, will help keep that weight constant (unchanging) after you have gained enough weight.
To gain some weight start out by eating three small meals a day. Don't count calories, or grams of fat, just eat for the joy of eating. Don't weigh yourself: just look into the mirror.
beckyboo answered Thursday June 7 2007, 1:55 pm: I know exactly what you mean. For your age and height, you're certainly not fat, but it's normal to feel how you do. A lot of the time, I'll just think "Okay, I'm skinny, why am I worrying about all these calories?" and other times it's like "Oh god, I can't believe I just ate all that". So don't worry. Barely anyone feels that their body is perfect. As long as you're maintaining your weight healthily-- I mean, no throwing up or starving yourself-- you should be fine. Good luck :) [ beckyboo's advice column | Ask beckyboo A Question ]

It sounds like you have a distorted self image, meaning that you see something completely different from what everyone else sees when you look in the mirror. The fact that you have admitted this about yourself is good, but it also sounds like you are on the path to having an eating disorder. Taking this quiz may give you some perspective...
There are many websites for self-help or you may want to talk to a doctor. You can do serious damage to your body when you don't eat enough. Take a look at this page and please take care of yourself...
