Same last name
ok well theres this new kid in school and he is REALLY CUTE!!! He stares at me in all the classes we have together...
I really want to get to know him and maybe go out with him somtime.
But the thing is he has the same last name as me which makes it kinda weird doesnt iT???

since y'alls last names are common, i don't think it should be too weird. and if you really like each other, it shouldn't matter at all. besides, if you two get married, you won't have to change your last name... okay, kidding, but no, it shouldn't matter. just make sure that everybody knows that y'all aren't related!

i have a common last name as well.
but my sister dated a man with the same one as us and it wasnt wierd at all.
my co - workers daughter is dating a man named cory and her name is kori which i thought was funny =)

Well I mean it may seem a little weird at first. Im sure once yall get to know each other it probably wont even matter. Unless you find out that yall are related. Most likly wouldnt happen though. Very odd. It really shouldnt matter i mean if you really like him and he really likes you then go for it. Hope i helped.

It would be a little strange at first probably, but if you like him, does it really matter what his last name is? Just because his name is the same doesn't mean that you can't get to know the kid. Go for it!

no its not wierd.. not really.. and if you want to get to know him, TALK TO HIM! ohh.. but just so you know, you might want to check whether you're related or something. But i know a lot of people that have the same last name, and it doesn't bother them. Just talk to him and get to know him and you two can become friends, or even more. And if people ask you whether your related to one another (and you know your not), simpley tell them no. And this is something good, if you two grow up and get married, you won't have to change your last name.

No I dont think it would be too weird. It's not like you are related. Unless you have an extremely uncommon name and he has the same one, that would just be ironic. You might want to check and make sure that he isnt related to you though, because I had a kid in my class with my moms maiden name, and then I was talking to him one day and found out that he was my cousin. It was super weird. So if you are thinking about going out with him and the two of you have a random last name then maybe its not a good idea, but like if your last name is smith or anderson or something really commom, then you might as well go out, just think if you get married there wont be all of that confusion.
But I cant tell you wether or not to go out with him, it's up to you, if you think that that wukk be a big deal then you shouldnt go out with him.

thats not weird. i have 2,000+ students in my school . lots of people have the same last name. and lots of people date that have the same last name. i think its cute. :) you wont have to change your name when you get married. haha its not weird, and if people ask you if youre related you say no. simple.
