have you tried carmex. its kinda for cold sores etc, but works really well with chapped lips. i keep my tube of carmex around me 24/7 and always have smooth lips.

get an electric shaver. less chance of cutting yourself. it doesnt hurt at all. dont buy a mens electric shaver, they make ones for girls.

ash wednesday is the beginning of lent. you get ashes on your head in the sign of the cross. this is for christians like catholics. lent is the 40 days before easter that Jesus Christ was out in the desert being tempted by the devil basically. and you know that good friday is the friday before easter, the day that Jesus was crucified on the cross. And 3 days later he rose from the dead (Easter). this is in a nutshell of course. Hope i helped. Oh and Lent people give up something dear to them, like soda or something they feel they cant live without to shadow how Jesus didnt have food or drink for the 40 days. and no meat on fridays. Ash Wednesday and Good friday you are supposed to fast.

im in band and every marching season i get mono. its not a big deal. im out for a while because im so exhausted and ive known so many people that have had it and have been fine. He will be fine. i have never heard of anyone dying of mono.

Wear a dress that compliments your body. If you are blonde or have red hair and are really skinny maybe wear a blue or teal dress that is strapless. First pick a color that you look good in. everyone looks good in black. Then pick a style you want. Strapless dresses are my personal favorite. Usually for homecoming people wear long dresses. Try Lord and Taylor, Jessica Mclintock, JcPenny, Marshall Fields to look for cute fashionable dresses.

you should also think about pretty jewelry. a nice necklace. some nice diamondy-looking earrings. try Claires. they have sooo much jewlery. dont go too overboard though.

it depends on how much you want to spend on your makeup and hair. You can get an up-do at a hair place for around $20-$60. If you aren't willing to spend that kind of money, you can do those twisty rolls, kind of like corn rows in the front of your hair. and then you can pull the back into a high ponytail and curl it.

your makeup should be not too outthere, some nice eyeliner, shimmery eyeshadow, and a thin coat of mascara. you can use bronzer for blush, just on your cheek bones. it makes any face look tanner, and flawless. I would stick with a shinny lipgloss, no lipstick.

you could also do your nails like a french manicure. that looks best when going to homecoming instead of just a plain color that matches your dress. like if you have a red dress you paint your nails red too. thats not a good idea.

are you guys going out to dinner as well? because if you are, dont go to mcdonalds(lol). you could go to a nice place like olive garden, or like a chilis or applebees.

i can totally empathize here, i have this problem. there is this stuff i know of called Certain Dri. you can buy it anywhere. you put it on at night and it stops the sweat all day, better than just regular deodarant. you can also talk to your doctor about it, and you can get perscription to stop it. Hey, if you are tight on money because the socks were expensive, you could always make something. You could make a scrapbook of a baby theme. You put in spaces for photos and places to journal and cute stickers/and accents on each page. I did it with my mom for my cousin's baby shower. like one page could be "At the hospital" and another could be "baby's first bath". All your brother and his spouse have to do is put in the pictures and journal about the experiences. He'll appreciate it because it is homemade and he can keep it forever. If you still are confused how to get started then you could always visit a scrapbook store, or JoAnn's and look at a few magazines for Baby themed scrapbooks.

I think you should try out different looks. Don't be too out there with it, like putting on red blush and dark, thick eyeliner. Maybe one day you should try pretty shimmery greens for eyeshadow, just on your eyelids, not any higher. One day you could also try some pink eyeshadow, it always looks elegant on anyone. I use bronzer for blush instead of regualar blush because it gives your look a more pretty touch, instead of using bronzer for your whole face like a lot of people do(they end up looking like oompa loompas with an orange face haha) you could also try a shinny lip gloss instead of lipstick, something that smells as pretty as it looks. i hope in your experiments something clicks!

hey, i have been in a situation like this so i think i can help. have you guys ever kissed before or is it going to be your first?
well i think that if you are together, pull her aside from what you're doing and be like i really love you, look her in the eyes,(not in a creepy way or anything lol) and just pull her close. if she's your girlfriend,i doubt you have to ask her if you can kiss her, you know? or if she doesn't like suprises you can tell her that you really want to kiss her and ask her how she would feel about it. i think she would be down for kissing you. tell me how everything goes!

i have the same problem. i cant bake brownies they always come out awful. try buying those betty crocker box ones, where all you have to do is spray the pan, add milk and eggs, put it in the oven, take it out and frost it. It totally helps. :) tell me how it goes.

I've been cheering since i was in 3rd grade. Basically you need like at least 3-5 sports bras. They have some at walmart that are not the cheap crappy material, they are like anywhere from 10-30 and they hold you in pretty good if you know what i mean. as long as you have a good sports bra you're set. What i usually wear are tank tops that are light and are easy to work out in, stuff from target or walmart, i'm not a big spender either. Try to avoid sporting goods stores because they have really high prices and rip you off. Kohls also have good sports apparel, including soffe shorts. I have soffe shorts in every color so i would stick with them because they have a reasonable price. Good luck with cheer, tell me how it goes.

i totally understand that you dont want to make the first move. in most relationships thats the case for both the girl and boy. i have many guy friends who admit they are scared of the rejection, they dont feel confident enough to make the first move. When you are comfortable enough with talking to your boyfriend, explain to him your concerns and whats on your mind. If he chose you to date, he'll be up for talking about it. Are you scared of the first kiss because you want it to be just right or because you are scared he'll freak out and not want to kiss you?

Usually when your boyfriend wants nothing more than to just BE WITH YOU, and he cares about you a lot and doesnt care what other people think about your relationship, its most likely love. If your boyfriend said he loved you, he def. means it. :) tell me how your first kiss goes!
