MissMegLoL answered Friday February 23 2007, 4:14 pm: Although there are home kits, I probably wouldn't use one because they are tricky, painful and the area you would be waxing is pretty sensitive. I would just shave, but don't shave upward. Shave downward in the direction that your hair grows in and you will have minimal discomfort. Just be careful, and you shouldn't cut yourself. It wouldn't take as long or cause as much redness as waxing either; it takes me less than a minute to shave and I can't even picture myself waxing... OWWWW! runawayxlove answered Friday February 23 2007, 1:49 pm: hey, well i shave also. yeah its a lot of hard work, but its much easier than getting waxed or even waxing yourself. with practice you wont cut yourself. ive only cut myself two-three times and ive been shaving for almost a year now. yeah it hurts for that split second, but the sting goes away after a while. also shaving is way more comfortable than waxing. waxing hurts a lot more and even stings a little longer after your done. you could also be allergic to the wax, which will cause itchy red irratation.
