ok whenever i swallow (like hard or forcefully kinda) it feels like i'm swallowing a lump. its kinda bitter, and its at the the back of my throat. it kinda almost feels like its made up of mucus. what is it? i've had it for at least 4 years if that helps any

i dont know if this is correct, but it could be your tonsels or however you spell it. are they enlarged at all?

talk to your doctor and tell him/her your concerns.

Sometimes whenever mucus and stuff builds up, people get that way whenever they feel sick or something. But if you've had it four years, I'd highly reccommend going to the doctor soon and asking him about and have him check out what's going on. I tried Googling up what's happening to you, and this site came up:

I sometimes get that when I'm unwell, but not for the length of time that you have had yours. I suggest you go and visit your doctor as he will be able to diagnose/clear up and (if neseccery) cure the problem.
