Do people define others upon their social status more so in middle school or high school? I know that there are so many more kids where i am going to go to high school next year, so wouldn't it be difficult to get to know everyone? thanks =]

Sadly, there are a lot of mindless robots out there that think your social status is what makes you who you are. No matter what your age or your walk of life. It's just not as bad. [ Brandi_S's advice column | Ask Brandi_S A Question ]
AskAndy answered Thursday February 15 2007, 7:49 pm: Middle school definetly. Everybody whos been to high school says so, and people are just more mature there, they think cliques are dumb. Plus there are more people, so you are bound to have more friends all over the place. Getting to know EVERYONE will always be hard, but the right people will come early. After all you don't need to know everyone, some people are mean, or do bad things. Don't worry. [ AskAndy's advice column | Ask AskAndy A Question ]

Social status actually is more enforced in MS than HS.
People finally grow up & realize that cliques don't really matter much.
XAskMeSomethingX answered Thursday February 15 2007, 7:12 pm: Middle school has so much more seperation. Once you get to high school, cliques won't matter any more. And of course, you don't have to get to know EVERYONE, just the people you are interested in getting to know. Hope I helped.
andalixsays answered Thursday February 15 2007, 7:12 pm: I found that social status mattered so much more in middle school. I think that, by the time I was in high school, everyone was bored of being cliquey, and judging others. Granted, it still happens, but we all got bored of caring. Plus, you start to socialize with more people, so social status doesn't matter that much, because you have a lot of friends who may or may not be of the same status. Middle School was so much worse with all that. [ andalixsays's advice column | Ask andalixsays A Question ]
