I had sex a few days ago, and now I think I might have a urinary tract infection or something of that sort. Do the two go together or could this be something else? It burns a little when I pee, but nothing else seems to be wrong and I'm just worried.
Women who are sexually active—Sexual intercourse can introduce larger numbers of bacteria into the bladder. Infection is more likely in women who have frequent intercourse. Infection attributed to frequent intercourse is nicknamed "honeymoon cystitis." Urinating after intercourse seems to decrease the likelihood of developing a urinary tract infection.

If not, you may want to get it checked out at the library. Good luck! [ geegollyHOLLY's advice column | Ask geegollyHOLLY A Question ]

If it burns for more than a day or two, it's probably an UTI. I'd schedule an appointment with your doctor as soon as you can. It can cause some serious problems if left untreated. leah87 answered Monday February 5 2007, 7:33 pm: i got a uti from having sex. it is not a big deal
you should pee before you have sex and immediately after..this will cleanse your vagina and prevent infection.
the sooner you get meds for this the better..it will get worse and could result in a kidney infection.
you have to go to your doctor and get a prescription medicine. [ leah87's advice column | Ask leah87 A Question ]

kenidean answered Monday February 5 2007, 7:30 pm: Don't worry about it. I don't think it's that serious. Sex hurts, and the pain continues after. If it starts burning more and more, I'd consider seeing a doctor. [ kenidean's advice column | Ask kenidean A Question ]
I doubt that having sex caused your infection, I guess it's possible, but I don't think it is. If the burning pee is the only thing your experiencing, don't worry about it until more symptoms start occuring. [ Melody's advice column | Ask Melody A Question ]
xcheerbabex108 answered Monday February 5 2007, 7:29 pm: I think you should probably go see a doctor. And if there's any worries about your parents finding out, the doctor can't say anything because it's patient confidentiality. But, it does sound like you have a UTI, but, I also don't want to give you the wrong information because I am not a doctor. [ xcheerbabex108's advice column | Ask xcheerbabex108 A Question ]
