Thongs
Lately, I kinda have been wanting a thong or like something pretty much like it. Just the thing is im kinda too embarrassed to get one. and if my parents ever saw it (mostly my dad) would like make jokes about it or pick on me about it (really embarrassing). anther thing is if i were to get one, id prob. want it from a&e or victoria secrets or something but im like really small. for my pants im a 14 slim (thats in abercrombie) && in pac sun im a 00.i dont know if victoria secrets would fit me or what. and then even if they did i find it embarressing just to go shopping for underwear/thongs!

I can't really help you with the size, so I guess you will have to see for yourself if a thing fits you or not. In any way, don't feel embarrassed buying underwear. You have to wear something after all! Why should anyone care if you choose thongs over something else? About your parents... well, I can only advice them to grow up. Making jokes about your kid when she'd like to be supported is really immature. God! Don't you just hate when they do that?! Anyway, yes, V.S. rocks, so maybe for a start you should tell your parents that you need some other clothes from there, and only then go to realization of your true intention.
Here's couple of examples of what you can do:
In Example #1, you say that it's sleepwear that you need.
"I picked a great top and pajama pants, so maybe I should select some underwear that would go with them? Ooh, there's some pretty panties! Although they're thongs... Hmm, to buy, or not to buy?.. Well, the colors are just perfect, so... fine! I guess, I'll have to wear thongs then. At least in the summer it would feel less hot, right?"
In Example #2, you could be buying really tight jeans, pants, or a skirt, in which any regular underwear would be visibly outlined.
"Dad, do you want everyone to see what kind of underwear is on me?! For Gods sake, it's private!"

thongs are really out now..in my opinion they remind me of floss. They take away all the crap between your teeth but in this case cheeks. Here is what i suggest,

I wear the same size and Victoria's Secret PINK xs underwear fit perfectly! I suggest buying it alone. it will save you major awkwardness! When i bought mine, i never officially told my parents about it; i just let it turn up in the wash. i'm sure that it's embarassing for parents to talk about that stuff too, because my mom still hasn't mentioned it.

hey, victorias secret is like where everyone goes to buy there underwear! thats the perfect place to go. im sure that most girls in there will be buying thongs because a lot of people wear them. the workers there wont make fun of you either. im sure they wear them and they work there so i bet they have a lot of girls shopping for thongs. you could also try boy shorts. i like thongs better, but both are good. also buy the low rise thongs. that way they wont pop out of your pants and show if your pants are very low. thongs come in thin strings and thick strings. i go for the thin strings. both are considered thongs, its just your preference. there are also double string thongs.

A lot of girls go through it. Even I did.. and I was joking about getting one.. And well, someone took it serious.
So i got one. You can start by wearing bikini underwear or getting the little shorts? You just look at the thongs and assume what size you are. I'm small too so you can either get a small or med. Sometimes med's are too big though.
Victoria Secrets is somewhere you can look at. Some other places like Pac Sun have them too.. Like anchor blue. Just browse.
If you're going shopping with your dad... then tell him you're going to go shop on your own. If he asks why. tell him you want to buy underwear and i'm sure he would understand.
if you don't want them to find out then you should wash your own clothes/thongs.
But I'm sure they won't mind. It's only underwear. If they joke about it.. then joke with them too. They will stop if they see it doesn't bother you.
I had it happen to me. I just laughed. I mean, if it feels comfortable and you like it .. then who cares what they think, right? :]

Pink from Victoria Secrects is good. Um American Eagle. Pac Sun. Probalby abut anywhere in a mall near you. A Kolhs, Target, Kmart even hahaha. But they will fit you if you get like XS at Pink or American Eagle. If you just get one, you'll eventually get over you fear. Its not that bad, theres always a first for everything. People don't really look at you werid when your picking them out most people arnt like "omg" cause I bet a large amount of the girls have thongs too. And the cashiers dont act mean or imbarassing about it either. If you really dont want your parents to see them, just wash them yourself with a big amount of other clothes and just ask your mom to show you how to work the washer so you'll know how too.

When I was younger and I got my first thongs, I used to wash them at my best friend's house so that my parent's wouldnt find them cause I was embarassed too!! I know how it feels. But victoria's secret should definitely have a size for you- and don't feel embarassed girl! That's what nearly everyone goes to victoria's secret for! The people in there are nice, just go in and tell them you're wondering if they have anything in your size because you are so thin- you dont even have to say for thongs. They will point you in the right direction & they won't think anything about it, that's their job!!
