ok well ima a girl and a couple days ago i went to my aunts house and she has a son and he's my cousin.were both 14. well we kinda like each other alot and i guess we just set aside that we were cousins. well we ended up sleeping next to each other and he was touching me, like my boobs and butt and all that stuff. and well the next day we ended up making out like the whole day..and the thing is i liked it alot and i know it's wrong to like your cousin but i can't help it. why does it have to be so wrong? we both love each other and we have ever since we were little kids, we practically grew up together. i just don't know what to do, he kept asking me things like are you a virgin, do you wanna live with me when you grow up? and im just so confused on what to do, i don't want to end up having sex with my cousin, but then again, what if i do?, and what if i like it??! please help me. i need all the advice i can get.

You can have sex with whoever you want, it's not illegal. But you can't marry under current US laws. The closer parents are related, the greater the chance that the offspring has defects; humans have evolved to look down upon such relations, families that have children together die off, it's natural selection. If you still have feelings for each other in 2-4 years(depending on the state), go ahead and have protected sex, the worst that could happen is you have a kid, and the chances that it has defects is only slightly higher.

i'll say this. albert einstein married his cousin. jerry lee lewis married his. it's not illegal, its just a matter of morals and not ethics or legality. do you feel it morally wrong to be with your cousin? that's the first question. morals are different from person to person, place to place. and i can't decide what your morals are, and what you should feel. it's all based on perspective and point of view. and i don't think anyone can help you with this problem other than you. i think you need to first think about it, talk to your cousin about it, and try to come to a solution. because the thing that determines whether it's wrong is you and him. not us, not some people on the internet. do i think it's wrong? well no i don't, i figure love has been found in weirder places. and it still manages to work. so i dunno. good luck i guess.

I dont know about it being legal, it probably isint in the US. My parents are first cousins, but they are from Iraq so over there its completley legal. My parents had four kids too, including me...and were perfectly normal. So the whole "your kids will turn out messed up" is probably not true.
If it's a distant cousin, I dont see anything wrong with it. But this wouldent go so well with the family dont you think? I know you cant help who you like, but I wouldent keep getting involved with your cousin. It would bring too many family issues.
Maybe you guys are just intrested in finding love. Wanting to be in relationship. Stuff like that. And theres a lot of people you can be in a relationship with, so I think you should talk to your cousin and break this whole making out thing.

Although I agree with everyone. It also depends on what kind of cousins you both are. First, second or third? If first then I really won't recommend it. I have a friend however who's parents are married and have 4 beautiful and healthy kids and I was told they are second cousins if I'm not mistaken. So although it is frowned upon in society and you really shouldn't do it, it also depends how close of cousins you are and how close the blood line runs. But honestly sweetie, try not to. Try not to be around him, and tell him how wrong you feel it all to be and that you can only be friends.

Okay unfortunately, if I'm not mistaken it is illegal. There are different reason as to why it is, but most importantly is because of problems that can come out of this in generations to come. As in, if you two have kids and they have kids, might have problems because of this. There is usually nothing you can do about who you like. Yeah it's a tad bit on the grows side but back in the day of our founding fathers, they would have sex and children with their siblings to keep the family blood line going. If you ever decide to sleep with him and gave kids they have a higher risk of getting down syndrome or some other terrible disease.
You guys are only 14, so chances are you want have sex soon and chances are you will both out like someone new within a month. So you don't have to worry about that.
