all the guy at my school go for looks in a girl....that's it! that is sooo wrong! as they get older will they change and start realizing that looks don't matter....or will they always be like that?
HypnotizexMe answered Friday November 17 2006, 12:09 am: looks can matter. a lot of people do look for looks but there are some who dont. It depends. some guys amture and some guys dont. i personally hate guys who just look for looks. its stupid. Most smart guys, will look into your inner self and decide. Not just looks. Because looks will get you no where in a relationship but personality will. They should soon notice :] [ HypnotizexMe's advice column | Ask HypnotizexMe A Question ]

There is something incredibly shallow about a man who dates on looks alone. Besides, looks fade. Wouldn't you rather be with someone who loves your sense of humor, intelligence, and spark - not just your face? [ beenthere1's advice column | Ask beenthere1 A Question ]
MelLeDisko answered Wednesday November 15 2006, 10:03 pm: It depends really, on the guy.
As guys do get older they do start to mature alot more and realize they shouldn't just like a girl for their looks and that they'll like them for more than that.
But sadly, some guys don't. They still are immature and find girls they only want and like for thier looks, and their looks only.
Don't worry, you're 13 and that's when alot of boys are still going to highly immature, so just wait around. Hopefully whenever they notice no girls are paying attention to them cause they're being annoying jerks, they'll catch the hint and try and mature up.
So like I said, I can't really tell you. It all depends on the person and how much they're willing to grow up. There's still alot of guys in my high school that are just so annoying and immature, but then there's some really great, nice, funny & mature guys that are really great pontential boyfriends. So don't worry, it'll happen!
duudee_advicer answered Wednesday November 15 2006, 9:30 pm: Guys plus Looks equals immaturity.
Its a simple equation we are taught in life.
Guys feel the outside is a preview of whats
instore, a pretty girl is a pretty girl inside.
Essentualy, those guys who are actually worth your heart come along. Those guys do realize looks are not absolutley everything. Other guys will be jerks for life. Those guys are usually the popular jocks who get everything they want then one day end up broke, homeless, and without a spouse.
If you wish, enhance your look by "Sprucing"
it up. Try a new makeup, hairstyle, or clothing style. Keep `em guessing.
Other then that, wait for the boys to grow up.
*Sighs* if they ever do.
muse_of_thought01 answered Wednesday November 15 2006, 9:20 pm: looks do matter...but it shouldn't be what matters most. girls mature much faster than boys.boys are much easily influenced by the media. i can't tell you for a fact that all of the boys in your school will grow up and mature and realize the good qualities in a girl besides look. just be their friend and be patient.most of them should in maybe a couple more years.they won't always be like that.
