38yr old male wakes up urinating on himself

Question Posted Thursday September 28 2006, 12:59 am

My husband has woke up the last two nights wet from urination. He is embarrassed and worried. I am having trouble finding anything helpful. What could be causing something like this to happen?

Prostate problems and or a urinary tract infection can cause night time incontinence. In addition it can also be caused by alcohol, antidepressants and some blood pressure medications. It's likely that his problem can be corrected so an appointment with his Dr would be best. Once you get a diagnosis, then you will have something to go on. Until then none of the information that you read on the internet will matter because it might not apply to his condition.

Go see a doctor, he might be scared, nervous, or he may have a small bladder control.

He needs to see a doctor. Adult onset bed wetting is
usually a symptom of another problem. Here is a list for you to check out. Get him a doctors appointment as soon as possible.

As was suggested in the previous answer, the best course of action is to see a doctor. He may well have an infection which can be treated. Drinking too much and stress can also cause this type of problem. Good luck.

I suggest seeing a doctor.
If he hasn`t had problems like this before then there might be something wrong with his bladder.
Get it checked out.Yeah it might be embarrassing but its better to see if theres anything wrong soon as possible before it getting worse..
Best of luck!
