Is the Crocodile hunter really Dead?
I heard that Steve Irwin the crocadile hunter guy was killed.
I don't know if that is true or not true?
Can someone tell me if it is true?
If the crocodile hunter is really dead then how did he get killed? I am so sad if it is true.

while shooting a movie, a stingray stung him, and it poked through his ribcage and poked a hole in his heart, and he died almost instantly. and yes, it is very depresing news. all of australia, and me are mourning his death...it was a crushing blow to the world

while he was fliming a new documentry about string rays a sting ray jumped out of the water and stung him in the heart.
the sad thing about this is that they even have a video of his death. They were fliming while it happend.

Sadly he did get killed. he was shooting a kids show for animal planet. he was swimming in the water when i sting ray killed him instantly. it's very sad and it's makes us remember that tomorrow is not promised so live life to the fullest.

Yupp it's true. I saw it in a myspace bulletin so I thought it was one of those gay rumors, but then a few mins ago I heard it on the radio, so yeah it's true. He got stung by a sting ray

Yes, sadly it is true.
He was filming in the Low Isles, Queensland near Port Douglas, north of Cairns, Queensland, Australia when he was stung in the left of his chest by a Stringray, which resulted in a cardiac arrest. He was taken by helicopter to Cairns Base Hospital, but was announced dead just an hour after the attack.
It was a bizarre freak accident as Stringrays rarely attack people. The BBC even announced that this was only the second known fatality in Australian history from a stingray attack.

He was filming for a new underwater documentary series and he was stung on the chest by a sting rays barb. Whilst a sting from this fish is not normally lethal, it appears to have caused a cardiac arrest due to the location of the injury. He was dead before paramedics could reach him. His wife was away on a hiking holiday at the time so was told later.
It is very sad but when he knew that when he took as many risks as he did, something was bound to happen sooner or later.

In short, the barbs on a stingray's tail got him through the heart. Very unusual injury to occur, even in Australia.

Yeah it's true, i was well shocked. He was stung just below the heart by a sting ray. :(
Their venom isn't usually enough to kill a man but it's probably because he was stung so close to the heart:(
