MelLeDisko answered Thursday August 31 2006, 7:33 pm: Just keep your friendship and try and find another girl. I know it's though since you like her, but if she only wants to be friends, there's really nothing you can do to change it. And you couldn't possibly ignore her since she's like you said, your best friend. I hope I helped. <3 [ MelLeDisko's advice column | Ask MelLeDisko A Question ]

xcheerbabex108 answered Thursday August 31 2006, 6:49 pm: Although she is only a friend, yet one of your best friends, keep the friendship between you two open and full of possibilites. Maybe she's afraid of a relationship, or just thinks of you as friend. And keep it that way. DON'T try and go changing yourself just for her; be yourself. And that's really the key to it. There's no guarantee she's just going to start liking you just like that, but keep the friendship. [ xcheerbabex108's advice column | Ask xcheerbabex108 A Question ]
miren2k answered Thursday August 31 2006, 6:07 pm: try and treasure the fact you have a good friend, and try and move on - love life wise, keep her as a friend though, unless it really hurts.
thelaura answered Thursday August 31 2006, 5:57 pm: You accept her decision and find someone who would like to be more than friends. Easier said than done, but moving on is the only option. [ thelaura's advice column | Ask thelaura A Question ]

x3rlrxox answered Thursday August 31 2006, 5:15 pm: Well, even thought you like this girl, i would take the friendship, because my friend is in this situation too and the girl thinks of him differently now and things are weird between them. It would be better if you stay her friend, because friendship is everything. She'll still be there for you as well as you'll be there for her. [ x3rlrxox's advice column | Ask x3rlrxox A Question ]
trishieloo answered Thursday August 31 2006, 4:48 pm: Let me ask you this first.. Have you told her exactly how you feel? If not, then you should.. there is a chance that she may feel the same way. Now if you guys have talked about it and you know 100% she has no interest in you, then I'd say you better move on. You guys can stay friends, but find another girl that is dating material. Volleyball2150 answered Thursday August 31 2006, 4:37 pm: just like the other person said, stop having feelings for this girl. If you said you really really liked her and started dating her... your friendship might be ruined. like totally runied! like down the drain ruined! Just hold your feelings back towards yourself and dont tell her
Jodieee answered Thursday August 31 2006, 4:33 pm: Hmm..Thats a toughie.
I would just try and stop having those feelings for her. Even though its really hard to do.
Because, even IF you ever dated, you would probably break up at some point, and maybe lose her as a friend because of the history.
