Why do people think the President has done a bad job?
Because people are complacent and will believe anything they hear- most people get their news from NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN (Clinton News Network) and these are very very liberal left wing stations who would of course be opposed to the conservative right wing image that Bush represents. Bush this and he led us into a war for oil and it's an unjust war and all of that "Iam a pussy democrat liberal" blah blah blah waaa waaaaaa. Want the truth? Here it is:
Liberals do nothing but talk and talk and PLAN on how things could be better and how they can take YOUR money and give it to people who not only need it because of an illness or a handicap of some sort which is absolutely acceptable- but people who are just too plain lazy to work. So basically they believe people shouldn't be held responsible for their own actions and they have "Rights". That is until of course they get a fresh piece of conservative right wing meat to munch on. People don't realize that there are people in this world who will stop at nothing to see us dead, we are scum that must be eliminated to them so we're beyond the whole "Let's talk this thing out" phase. We need REAL action because we live in REAL dangerous times. So my message- IF YOU'RE AN ANTI-WAR LIBERAL THEN WHY DON'T YOU GO WALK THROUGH BAGHDAD AND SEE JUST HOW MUCH THEY VALUE YOUR FUCKING OPINION.
Do you understand that by going into Iraq, Bush took down a government and it's leader who posed one of the worst threats to our security as Americans?
Do you ever hear that the job market for people coming out of school is the best that it has ever been or that the economy is thriving? NO because the left wing mainstream media doesn't want you to know that.
O yea and NEWSFLASH for people who blame Bush for the increased oil prices- HE DOESN'T CONTROL THAT DUHHH it's basic economics- Supply&Demand- more people demand it so the price to obtain it will go up, hey the oil companies are privately run and this is CAPITALISM and not COMMUNISM right? WATCH THE FOX NEWS CHANNEL FOR THE TRUTH PEOPLE.
People don't like George Bush? TOUGH SHIT you're stuck with him until 2008 and it's his last term and let's all pray that another conservative Republican is put in office and not some idiot radical liberal democrat (Might as well be called socialist) - want a REALLY bad administration- look up that Democrat joke of a president Jimmy Carter. Vikki27 answered Tuesday August 29 2006, 8:35 am: There are a lot of people here who have said why Bush is so hated but not a lot of people know Tony Blair.
I live in the UK, where Tony Blair is the Prime Minister and part of the Labour Party. There's also The Conservatives, the Liberal Democrats and so on.
Tony Blair was elected in 1997 and made a great many promises about improving education, the National Health Service and so on and forth. In the nine years he has been in power, the National Health Service has been found to be BILLIONS of pounds in debt, with a tremendous lack of good service being provided to those in their care. Education has also not proven to be a great improvement.
To top it all off, his cabinet have been slated for sex scandals, violence and more and then a lot of people are against him for his actions with Bush towards the war in Iraq and the War on Terrorism. The main belief seems to be that this is not 'our' war but many, many English soldiers have been killed because he insisted on getting us involved. Now, the British public understand the need to try to sort the situation in Iraq and we have NOTHING against America but it has been a huge sacrifice in our country for what is largely seen as little in the way of a good reason.
In additon to this, there are major issues with illegal immigrants, as it is now believed there are more in the UK than ever before and because they cannot speak English and are therefore largely unemployable, they are a drain on our taxes, resulting in problems with other areas of the country.
It just seems that during the time Tony Blair has been in power, everything has gone totally wrong. He's handled most situations very poorly and is slowly dragging the UK into some very nasty problems. [ Vikki27's advice column | Ask Vikki27 A Question ]
uisforukelele answered Monday August 28 2006, 5:58 pm: i'll tell you why i hate bush. he has ruined our economy. everybody is always hating on bill clinton, but in reality clinton was the one that got our economy back on its feet, but then bush comes in and wrecks everything. the minimum wage is a disgrace to our country. 5.15 an hour? what the hell? who can support a family off of that? what he's doing is eliminating the middle class. pretty soon, there will be the very rich and the very poor. a lot of people shop at wal-mart because it's cheaper. it's so cheap because wal-mart gives jobs to people in other countries because they will work for just about NOTHING. it's taking jobs away from americans and giving them to people in thailand or wherever. and the people that actually work at wal-mart? they can't even afford to have company INSURANCE because they don't get paid enough because things are so cheap at wal-mart. but people have to keep shopping there because of the economy and gas prices and things like that. besides that, bush doesn't even know how to run a country. the only reason he was put into office is because he "has good, christian morals." again, what the hell? just because he's a christian doesn't mean he can run a country. so basically, since he has these so-called good morals, all the preachers are preaching that we should support bush and the war in iraq. so all of these mindless republican lemmings believe that crap and vote bush back into office. a lot of people voted for dubya because his daddy was in office. well, just because somebody's father could run a country doesn't mean the son can. just because my dad is a diesel mechanic doesn't mean that i can do that kind of stuff, and just because i can play piano doesn't mean that my children will be able to. back to good morals. if bush had such good morals, he never would have sent troops into iraq. because seriously, WE CAN'T DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. we CANNOT fix ANYTHING over there. as soon as we pull out of iraq, things will go back to the way they were. and for what purpose? a lot of people liken this war to the vietnam war back in the day. NOTHING was accomplished and THOUSANDS DIED. for lack of a better metaphor, the shit has really hit the fan this time, and this time there's nothing we can do about it. kristen22 answered Monday August 28 2006, 2:33 pm: Most American citizens are content whomever is in the Oval office, do their 40 hours at work, take their check and enjoy the weekend. Some Americans are unhappy with the condition of the country. And a select few will do ANYTHING to see that President Bush is removed from office.
I think alot of the reason's he is hated so much is the way he has chosen to run things regarding the war in Iraq. Alot of people believe that they should just pack it up and bring our troops home, partly beacuse it has been such a long time since 9/11.
You take a dollar and bury it, you dig it up ten years later. It's still a dollar right? YES. You take a man that organized a attack on the United States, blowing up the twin towers, killing thousands of people. People that NEVER got to tell there family's bye. They just thought they were going to work. a few years pass, and what it doesn't matter anymore? Of course it matters, and President Bush knows that. That's why the war won't end until Osama is caught or killed.
People that say Bill Clinton did a wonderful job when he was in office are full of shit. First off, there was no war & he didn't have as big a problem as there is now with illegal immigrants. The president before Clinton is the one that set everything up so nice so Clinton would have time to Cheat on his wife and stick cigar's up her uknowwhere.
MelLeDisko answered Monday August 28 2006, 1:26 pm: I'm not too political myself, but from what I've heard..
Well, the fact is, this whole stupid war is happening just for oil. All these soldiers and innocent people over in Afghanistan are basically getting killed over some oil. I mean, I agree Osama should be found and caught and everything, but there's no reason for the rest of them who didn't do ANYTHING to suffer. And also, I forget at what point of the war or what happened [ but I remember it being a big deal ] and where was Bush? He was on sitting there on vacation while it was happening. And I just looked up in an article somewhere that in 2003, Bush spent 166 days of his presidency at his ranch in Texas and has taken off 255 days as of August 2003. That was 27% of his presidency spent on vacation. And another reason people tend to hate him is because he comes off dumb. I once decided to watch a interview he was doing just to see what he'd say and everything, and I didn't hear any big words or anything. Just simple words that me or even like, younger kids could understand. And then, after his speech he tried getting out the door, and he couldn't! He did it for a little and then realized it was a "pull/push" door. [ I forget if he was pushing or pulling ] And I don't know anything about Tony Blair, haha. But I hope I helped. <3 [ MelLeDisko's advice column | Ask MelLeDisko A Question ]
contradictionn answered Monday August 28 2006, 12:48 pm: George Bush is in so many ways like Adolf Hitler.
And why is Adolf Hitler hated so much?
because the killing of thousands of innocent people.
The war in Iraq/Afghanistan made many people angry, with the killing of innocent civilians and so many soldiers dead. Plus, all of those murders just for oil.
I hear now he's going into Iran, and for what?
The 9/11 attacks gave people a reason to point their hatred at him, also. He was warned of the attacks before they happened, and acted on nothing.
Both most recent wars have taken place when George Bush Senior was in office, and the one that's raging right now when George W. Bush is in office.
cheburashka answered Monday August 28 2006, 12:34 pm: i think a better question would be: why are there still people that like bush? and the answer would be: because they're stupid. if you ask a person why they hate bush, they'll talk about the war in iraq, gay marriage, his low intellect, abortion, and the many lame policies bush has implemented. if you ask someone why they like bush, their answer will be: well, because... he's so cool! bush-lovers can't provide you with a good argument because you have to be blind to still support him as a president. I live in England, and obviously Tony Blair is our prime minister and the general feeling is that he shouldn't have sided with Bush and joined in on the war. cheap_thrills answered Monday August 28 2006, 9:50 am: I hate politics as well, but I know that I dont like most of Bush's policies. Expecially his foreign one. Bush is simply not smart. He cant read, and he shouldnt have been elected for a second term. He got us into this war, and I'm not going to say wether or not the war is needed because there are pleanty of reasons why and why not. Bush is also selling weapons to Israel to aid them in the war they're going through just so we can import more stuff...which I find to be complete bullshit. The world is going to end up killing ourselves. You could also say that Bush is hated because there are tons of little kiddies out there that decide that they want to call themselves Anarchists and it's by their anarchist rules that they have to hate the president, when in turn they arent anarchists and they just call themselves that.
