hey all helpfull ppl out there.... i just wanna know a couple of things bout swimming as i have learnt swimming last month and learn all the basic 4 strokes...
1. which stroke in swimming help the most in reducing body fat, specially in the middle region and chest.
2. does swimming also helps in shapping ur abs? if yes then which stroke is best to tone up the abs and get a few packs..?
3. which swiiming stroke reduces fat such as side tyres and specially on the chest part...
plz help me if anybody knows d rite stuff...
I swam on a professional team for 8 years...just giving you some background on my opinion.
1. The butterfly stroke works out your abs the most, since you have to use them to push your whole body out of the water. The kicks also help work your lower abs. You could do kicking exercises on the side of a pool if you hold on and kick for a few minutes straight.
2. Yes, swimming does help tone your abs, but unless you're doing training out of the pool you wont have them carved. Again, butterfly is the stroke that works out your abs the best.
3. Freestyle is another good stroke to work out, seeing that its the fastest and will build up the cardio part of your workout. Pretty much any stroke can help your chest, since you're moving your arms in a rotation.
Swimming is extremely healthy, and once you start swimming regularly you'll see the difference in your endurance and figure. All you have to do is work at it!

A significant other can be a lover, a boyfriend or girlfriend, etc. Someone you have some sort of romantic relationship with. Hence, the word "significant", seeing that romance/sex is a significant thing. For example, my mom is too professional to say she has a boyfriend so she calls him her "significant other" as to not raise questions.

Well, despite what you think, girls like to listen to what a guys has to say just as much as they like to talk. We often feel the same way you do. But in order to get her talking, I'd suggest talking to her about things she can engage in...things she's informed about and such. She'd be happy to give her opinion on something she's interesting in. Also, when I have an awkward silence with a guy, I tend to break it by simply saying "so, tell me something about you that I don't know." See, this puts the pressure on them, and quite often it allows a conversation to being.

If you mean he lives far away from you then I think you should try to date for a little, and see how it goes. I was in a long distance relationship for a year and a half, and it was one of the best and worst expirences of my life. I would never do it again, though, becuase of how painful it was. I never saw him...ever. But if this guy is able to see you now and then, then I think you should at least try...everyone's different.

Well first of all, the wetness you're feeling is pre-ejaculation. Which 50% of the time has sperm in it. So yes, you can easily get pregnant. Even if you're just messing around I suggest you wear a condom and/or go on birth control. Also, it's going to hurt if you're young and a virgin. I think it's just because you're nervous about having sex. This happened to one of my best friend's boyfriends once or twice, and they managed once he was relaxed. Yes, there is a specific way you should put a condom on. First, you have to make sure which side is the right side to roll down. Then pinch the top and make sure there's no air in it, leaving enough room for him to cum. This way it wont pop when he does. Then roll it down all the way to the base. Try handling it the least you can, as the oils in your fingers can break down the condom material.

Yesterday I got my top ear pierced and the piercer said to wash it, blah blah blah. But he said not to twist it because it's bad for the healing process. And people are telling me to twist it when I clean it to keep it clean.

The cartilage piercing? Well, when I got mine they said not to twist it. The only reason why is because your fingers have oils and germs on them that can infect the newly pierced hole. If you're going to twist it, put Bactine (the best thing to heal piercings fast) on it while doing it, and clean your hands beforehand. It should be fine. Plus, you dont want the crust to build up on the piercing, so it can be good to twist it.

Well sex does feel good, it's more than just feeling good. It's one of the greatest things two people can do together. It's a real connection. It's not painful at all, once you get past the 2nd or 3rd time. After that, it feels fine. And there arent many risks if you protect yourself. Condoms are 98% effective if used RIGHT. So is the birth control pill. And now with the EC pill, theres even less of a risk...because if you do slip up and get pregnant accidently, you dont have to go through so much to fix it. And with STD's, you just have to be safe about it. Intelligent people should have sex; stupid people who dont think before they do anything shouldnt. And its not a weird question, it's actually very smart.

It really depends on the person, and how they feel about losing their virginity. I'm 15, and I lost my virginity at this age...some of my friends have as well. But I also know people that did in freshman year of college, or senior/junior year of highschool. It depends on you...and no one else has to know every detail about your personal life. Before I had sex, I had done everything else but oral. Or anal(which god no, id never do). This was around 14 - 15 years.

Well, if these feelings you're having are just crushing on a guy, then you need to concider this: If you're in a good relationship with a guy you're getting more feelings for, then why risk that for someone you KNOW you wont be able to have? I know it's a hard realization to come to, but you really have to train yourself. Try spending less time with this guy, and spend more intimate..personal time with your boyfriend. I have a gay friend too, and what keeps me from having any feelings for him is that I know that i love having a gay friend, and i can talk to him about a lot of great girl stuff without feeling weird. You really just have to turn your crushy feelings into best-friend feelings. It's easier than you think.
