Last week on my spring break I recently met up with a good friend I've know for about two years. We were getting along great through out the week. He stayed with my and my family and we did alot of great fun activities to pass the time. The last night he was here I confessed that I gained a crush for him. Seeing as he is gay, and I'm a Female and also Taken, I don't know what to do. I hear its normal considering the fact that he likes everything I like, but every time I speak with him I like him more. But everytime I speak with my boyfriend, I like him more too. I know that he's gay, and that theres probably no chance, but I can't get over him. What am I to do!?
Yours Truly,
Straight for a Gay

I know it's a hard realization to come to, but you really have to train yourself. Try spending less time with this guy, and spend more intimate..personal time with your boyfriend. I have a gay friend too, and what keeps me from having any feelings for him is that I know that i love having a gay friend, and i can talk to him about a lot of great girl stuff without feeling weird. You really just have to turn your crushy feelings into best-friend feelings. It's easier than you think.
