Should I go to collage?
I'm in High school and I should be in collage soon. I have good grades and me parents think I should go to collage but I want to get married and have kids after highschool. I don't see the point in spending all that money if I am not going to work. Should I go anyway to please my parents?

If I were you I would go to college beacause you never know what tommorow wil bring for instance say your so call husband prouduced kids with in this so called civilization and you get into a fight with you and dicides not to pay for your need or your children what will you do then end up working in fast food facilaty that only pays 5 dollars an hour how wil that pay your bills while if you get a college degree you'll get about 100 dollars per hour think of all the money

Go to college, you're fantasy life that you have planned for yourself might work out, but you damn well better have a backup plan.

Collage = College. Why would you lower yourself like that & not WANT to better yourself? This is 2006 - get a degree & become independent. Don't depend on someone to take care of you forever. & don't think that getting knocked up & popping out a few kids is all the potential that you have in this world. You're better than that. In the end, it pays off. & if you don't go, you're not going to get very far when you do end up needing to feed your kids.

Ok here is the thing, by going to college whether or not you use your degree you will have it. In this day and age most families need both incomes to survive and when your children are all in school full time you may want to work. Also it will be a good teaching skill for when your children are older and want to skip college you would be a pretty handy excuse.
Getting a higher education is never a waste it boosts self esteem and feelings of self worth. You will be getting a free education with your parents paying for it and broaden your horizon and experience. Also in 5-10 years when you are at dinner parties or functions with your husband will you want to be the only person there who did not attend college? It will also give you the self confidence that is always needed in social situations.

Ill tell you why you should go.SAY one day your married and you have a fight with your husband and you end up divorced and you have TWO kids and he decides to be an ass and not pay ANY money for you 3.What are you going to do?How are you going to get a REAL job thatll support you three?You never know WHAT will happen tomorow so you should always have a college diploma in case.Even if youre not going to work now.And if you decide to work,its better because youll depend on yourself.
