easy one, although you may find this a little weird. cover one nostrel, and breathe in slowly for 10 seconds (count accurately) then hold for 10, and finally cover the opposite nostrel and breathe out for 10. Good luck
ps. this doesnt work when in the company of friends, as you tend to laugh instead

Okay, this may sound a little wierd but it works, believe me.
* Hold your breath and close your eyes.
* Get someone to place one finger on each eyelid and press gently (make sure they don't hurt you)
* Get them to slowly tickle the palm of you hand in a circular motion
and they should dissapear.

It's supposed to be because your concentrationg on their hands and not on your hiccups that gets them to stop. it's a bit of an old wives tale really but it's worked the few times i've used it!

Without using a calculator do this math problem and actually do it in your head without looking further:

564+55+22*3+65-88+64-22

What is your answer???

I don't know but if you followed the above instructions and did not go to the bottom of the question then your hiccups should be gone. Works everytime for everyone I know!!! Its due to the shift in your thinking patterns.

Hope this helps.

Volleyball2150 answered Tuesday August 22 2006, 6:55 pm:
drink water upside down... i know its hard, but instead of putting your lips on the glass ((where you usually put them)) put it on the other side of the glass, then bend down, tip the glass so water comes into your mouth, take a few swallows, come back up and take a deep breath. It works for me every time!

I hope I helped!

Take a teaspoon of sugar and eat it. It will irritate things and make them stop. Has always worked for me. :)
