some one told me to chew gum that that would work the pain out. That hurt to bad so i had tylenol every 3 hours it helped a ton.

p.s. It also helps if you take it like right befor you get them tighten.

Take tylenol or advil, stay away from hard foods for a few days, do something to distract yourself, and eat ice cream. Hope I helped.

Just take some tylenol or advil. What I've done before is just stayed away from really hard food until my teeth stopped hurting and just had some soft food or ice cream or other cold stuff too because that makes your teeth really cold and you feel less pain. Sometimes I also just try not and think about it, I read a book or I watch tv instead. I hope I helped.

take tylenol or advil. there's not much else you can do, i'm afraid. it always helped me when i got mine tightened to go do something that would take my mind off of it. like, i would get them tightened and then go to school so i would be thinking about other stuff and hanging out with my friends.
