What do you notice first?

Question Posted Saturday August 5 2006, 10:28 pm

I want just wondering what everyone notices first in both the opposite and same sex. I want to know what to spend more time on so people will notice me. I don't want to say if I'm male or female because I want to know what both sides think. Thanks.

When I look at a guy the first think I take notice of is his face. First I look at his hair to calculate the last time he washed it. Then the eyebrows, does he shave them (gross)? Are his eyebrows bushy, small, or barely there? Next I look around his eyes and then at them. I look to see if he wears eyeliner (makeup is for girls), then I look at his eyes (are they misterious, sad, mad, or happy?). Finally I look at his chin and cheeks (does he have dimples, does his chin go outward or lie flat?)
I know you didn't ask but the second thing I notice is his smell. Did he use deodorant (hopefully so)? Does he use cologne?
Hope I helped.

I'm a girl by the way. In a guy I look at their appearance ex. eyes, hair, smile, and figure. Then if they are shy or outgoing, you know if they are easy to talk to. In a girl I notice how the present themselves, example if they have confidence or are they laid back etc.

I think when I meet someone for the first time I register them on 2 levels physically and personality.

In men I notice their eyes and smile and personality I notice there quickness to laugh, or make others laugh.

In women I notice weight and shoes and there ability to make others laugh.

I hope this helps, I am a women by the way.

I'm girl FYI.

In guys I first notice their hair, then their biceps and chest muscles and stuff, then maybe their eyes, but if you're a guy I don't really think you could change anything about your eyes.

In girls... I guess I notice their clothes, whether I like them or don't like them. Then I probably decide whether I like their hairstyle or not and would want to try to copy it. (Yes, I'm a fashionista.)

okay, in guys the first thing i notice is confidence. i don't want to hang out with a guy that looks uncomfortable and lost all the time. and i also like when guys are comfortable just being friends with everybody. i have a few guy friends that hang out with all the groups in the school. like, one of them is a football player and has lots of jock friends but is also on the math/science team and stuff. i'm a girl so i don't really notice much in girls, but i think that confidence and a willingness to accomodate people is something that stands out to me. for example, it really makes me feel welcome when somebody says, "hi, i've never met you before, what's your name?" when i'm standing there instead of just looking me up and down and then making a face to other friends.

In guys, I notice if they are happy..which I always find attractive because they seem fun. I also notice what they wear.

In other girls, I notice shoes (I am a shoe whore), and hair (gives me an idea of other cute hair styles I may want to try out).

But hey, it's different for everyone else. I just think if you seem happy and confident with yourself, other people will notice because you will seem approachable and someone they can have a good time with. If you are shy and look down when you look, it looks like you would rather be left alone.

Hope this helps.

Well I'm a girl so--

What I notice about guys first is their eye color, hair and height.

With other girls I notice eyebrows, hair, and clothes first.
