It usually takes a while to get into a dermatologist
but when I went, the stuff they gave me did not help at all. It infact made my skin break out worse than it was before.

Clearasol works.

The best thing to eliminate breakouts, acne, blackheads is to get proactiv solution it's even recommended by a dermatologist I really suggest you try this product, and I guarantee you won't regret it.

To remove blackheads- mix salt with hot water and dab onto the spots with a cotton ball. This will alow them to losen so they can easily be squeezed

dunno if it works but good luck :-)

For some people Pro activ works. For others it doesn't. But its defintely recommended. It works for the first few weeks but then it stops but it clears it up so you can start over with a clean face. Ummm i've been using something called Nature's Cure. It's really good. My parents have told me that my face looks clearer. You can get it at drugstores. You take a pill in the morning and at night. But it's not a drug it's made with natural ingredients. Then theres a face cream you put on at night. Kay good luck :)

Use biore nose strips to yank out those blackheads and a bleakhead clearing astringent when your done. Dermatologists are too expensive. Just wash your face with a clearasil face wash or neutrogena kind. Use products labeled "oil free" or "sensitive skin". I would wash your face in the morning with a face wash after showering, and then using this product called "acne free" every night before you go to sleep. They sell it at walmart. I have used proactiv and it works if you use it regularly, but it is so expensive and you have to order it. Acne free I have used also and it is exactly like proactiv. It has the same purifying cleanser, the same renewing toner and the same repairing lotion. It also comes with an acne bleakhead terminator cream that you put on the troubled spots that i would use at night so it would work while Im asleep.

facial do more harm than good, the cause more breakouts than prevent them. the germs from you break outs speard to other parts of your face when you get a facial. it would be best to see a dermatologist.

orphans answered Saturday July 29 2006, 2:47 pm:
If you've tried all the creams and washes then yes. For acne, you can get pills prescribed to you and those work better than creams most of the time. I've never been given anything for blackheads from my doctor though.

The best thing to do for black heads, though, is wash your face in the shower or right when you get out. The vapors from the hot water open up your pores. You get more dirt out then. Pore strips also work. You put it around your nose and pull it off.

And you know what, you don't even have to go to an actual dermatologist; your regular doctor can prescribe you something.

naturally_sadie answered Saturday July 29 2006, 2:43 pm:
I had the same problem as you. I think its totally worth going to a dermatologist. I got a facial done (it was about $60) and she steamed me and put all the cream on and by the time I walked out, I was free of acne. My face was smoother, and the dead skin was off and I felt like a new person. To get rid of the blackheads they will have to pop them off with a tool kind of like a tweezer, and the forehead doesn't hurt but the nose and cheeks are kind of painful but its worth it at the end. When you get your facial, they will try to sell you products to help you get rid of the acne when it comes back. They know whats good and if they say something will really help you, then you should buy it. When I got a facial there was shelfs of different face products and the dermatologist helped me pick out which ones would be good for me. Just ask them, they would be glad to help you out. If worst comes to worst and you can't get a facial, then get pro activ and wash your face 3 times a day. But I reccomend getting a facial, because I just loved it. Maybe you're different, but thats just my opinon.

Hope I helped.

TEENAGExHEARTS answered Saturday July 29 2006, 2:38 pm:
i had the same problem. everything i tried just WASN'T working. but what i did was buy something with 6% benzoyal peroxide (or 5% if you can) to put all over my face twice a day (morning & night). but make sure to wash your face with an astringent/toner (that is NOT made to treat breakouts) before putting on the acne cream. then i bought the oxy maximum with 10% benzoyal peroxide to put on individual pimples when i see them. that should work.

GOOD LUCK :]
