I am trying to throw away all unnecessary things I own.
I have a lot of junk and it could be put to use by someone else.
By eliminating, I plan on having a very spacious room and I want to have such little stuff that it will be possible to move easily.
By throwing away practically my whole room, this problem will be solved.
Here are my only dilemas:
Should I keep the TV in my room?
I keep it there so that when people come over, we can watch movies in bed.
The problem is, I dont watch that much TV, and it takes up a lot of space along with the DVD player.
My other problem is that I have a box full of stuffed animals in my closet. I dont know what to do with them.

I have one hanging over my bed & my friends don't even know what it really is! I also got a plastic square shelf, and stuck it up against a wall & put my shoes on it, but I didn't want people to see my shoes so I hung a pretty lime green floral dress from top to bottom. It was a 2-inch strap & I just tucked the straps under & you can't even tell! Let your mind do the cleaning, and it will come up with some pretty groovy ideas. Then you can put it wherever you usually do. As for the stuffed animals, if they are not too used, you can wash the ones that are dirty and take them to the hospital for sick kids or drop them off at an emergency shelter. That is, if you don't know anyone who needs or will use them. Hope your room turns out well! [ Helpful's advice column | Ask Helpful A Question ]
ashlynn answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 6:10 pm: I had the same problem with my room. You may want to move your tv to another room so it can be easily moved back when you want to watch it. But another idea is that you could sell your tv and the stuffed animals at a garage sell. Take the money and buy a smaller tv (possibly one with a built in dvd player or vcr, that way you can get rid of the dvd player too). If getting rid of your tv is not exactly what you want, try putting it on a smaller table (assuming you have a seperate table or center for it). Then decorate so its not as noticable and you have more space. Thats what I did. Also if you don't sell the stuffed animals (or have someone to give them to) try giving them to the childrens ward at a local hospital. I guarantee the sick children will love them. I hope this helps you decide what to do. [ ashlynn's advice column | Ask ashlynn A Question ]
pinkers answered Tuesday July 25 2006, 5:36 pm: You could ask your parents if you could just move the tv to another room, but keep it on like a wheely thing,, so when you have friends over, all you have to do is wheel it in, plug it in and you can watch movies.
The stuffed animals: If you know any little kids, you could give them to them, have a garage sale, or just donate them to charity.
I hope i helped.

And you can either throw the stuffed animals away. Or decorate your room with them?
Put them on a desk, bookshelves, on your bed, under your bed?
Pin them to your wall?
My friend has got this net thingy that she pinned in the top corner of her room.
She puts all her stuffed animals up there.. It hangs nicely.
