Appropriate workout

Question Posted Sunday July 23 2006, 1:40 am

Ok i am a 15 yr. old female who loves to be active. I usually run cross country but i decided that i would take a year off. But i have realized that i am gaining a little bit of weight and i don't like that. I am used to being quite thin. I play soccer and i would like to improve my skills there. But going out and playing soccer all day isn't going to cut it. I also have a short attention span. I do 250 crunches/situps every night. What would be an appropriate workout for me to do everyday. Something else i need to keep in mind is i have to work part time.

Add squats, pushups and leg lifts. Also for endurance, practice holding a Planch (like the top of a pushup) for as long as you can, adding a few seconds each time. Add chinups or pullups too, even if you can only do partial reps at first

Go to your local gym and see if you could get in a quick workout everyday. If not jog around your block everyday(at least try to)ond and most likely you'll lose all that xtra weight

well you could wake up at six do about 50 pushups and 50 crunches. Then stretch and run 5 miles. Do that every mornig and that should be fine.

Sincerely,

Silent Kenny

I play soccer and what I do in the off seasons is random drills in the morning and night. Take a ball outt and practice hitting it in the air, bouncing it off your head, and then dribble it 50 feet or so, and then repeat. Do that for about 15 minutes 2 times a day... lol it sounds complicated but its not, its fun and it helps you be better while playing in a game. If you can get other people to do it with you, you can have them try to steal the ball from you. If theres a large group then you all have a ball and try to kick off as many balls as you can without losing your ball. Thats hard, but it helps.

lol if u need anything IM me sometime... loca1 x cel3b

MODERNDURATION answered Sunday July 23 2006, 5:11 pm:
hey,
you could join a gym and workout for a half hour a day doing cardio. Cardio gives you the best results and keep up with the crunches and you'll be fine.

Since your body is used to running try jogging every morning and go to a gym or jump on a trampoline, siwm. Theres tons of things you can do to keep active and stay thin.
