hi-whats the point of going into surgery if it is not noticeable? i think you shouldn't go into surgery because its fine, not like it is infected or anything like that. i hope i helped.

If it's not a big deal then you probaly shoulden't go into surgery over it. In fact, I've heard of special lotions that help scars fade over time. I'd try that first!

Usually if the wound was deep, nothing, not even surgery will make the scar go away completely. Surgery might make it less noticable. You'd have to ask the surgeon about that. The pain will depend on several things, how deep the incision will be, where the scar is located and what amount of manipulation of the surrounding skin the surgeon will need to do. You say it's so noticable, but then only a little...Is it that you notice it more than others? There's a great cover up made by dermablend that can help make it less noticable. Last I knew it was sold at JC Penney's cosmetic counter.

Crack a Vitamin E pill in half and spread it on the scar. I've heard A LOT of people do this and it goes away.
Good luck!

You say is only a little noticeable. Your only 13, I am sure it will go away once you are older. For now I suggest that you go to any local drug store and buy a nice concealer, offering you the coverage you want. Make sure you get something like blend oil-free concealer (like Neutrogena's Skin Clearing Concealer), so you don't break out. Hope that goes well for you :)

I think you should just let it stay there for awhile, you`re only 13 and your body is still growing and scars do fade away after time. In a couple years you & don`t like it still then get surgery, it might make a different scar tho. =/ Depending on what the surgery is then it might be painful too for a couple days after. ♥

now they do have things to reduce scars, i don't know if u'd tried them or not. they shoud have them in most drug stores or walmart. if you are scared to go into surgery or don't want to u can try the scar reducers first.
hope i have been helpfull
