Kool aid doesn't help dye your hair but it helps brightn it up, if you already have either blonde hair (lemon kool aid), red hair (cherry kool aid), if you have brown hair you can use instant coffee to give it a boost. Otherwise it won't dye your hair. If you put lemon juice in your hair then go out in the sun it will give it highlights. Since you alredy have highlights it should dye it if you use a lot. That's if you want blonde hair. Since your a natural brunette you won't want to go blonde. It usually doesn't look right. You might end up with an orange, to copper red hair also. If you want your hair dyed light brown, red, etc. You will probally have to go to the store and buy regular hair dye, that's your best bet.

Don't do it. It turns your hair a combination of green and orange, and looks really awful- my cousins did it and it took a year for it to full wash/grow out. Hawaiian punch probably does the same thing.
Hair dye, especially the temporary kind, isn't that expensive- under $10- go to Walmart or the drugstore and find a color you like. To enhance your color, try John Frieda Color Glaze. If you want a more subtle change, put lemon juice (to make it more blonde), cranberry juice (to make it more auburn), or blueberry/grape juice (to make it more "blue") in a spray bottle with water, spray it in your hair, and lay out in the sun for about an hour.

Hah. I've done that before, Only I used candle wax dye. It was red(i have blonde hair)and it stained it, but it fades quicker than regular hair dye. So I'm guessing Kool aid probably wont last as long either, but It doesnt hurt to try it I guess..?

i would totally not use kool-aid
i used to do that when i was younger, and it siffens your hair, and it normally doesn't come out, exspecialy if you do it the right way

my advice would be to go to a local drug srore, or wal*mart or Target or something

and buy hair color there

kool-aid isn't good
trust me

You can't dye your hair with Hawiian Punch. It can brighten your already dyed hair, but that only works for certain colors. Redheads use red punch, blondes yellow and I forget what brunettes use.

As for summer hair color, ask your local beautician. Most love talking about the newest hair styles and what's going on in Europe.

I never dye my own hair. I always get it done professionally. However, some girls may not be able to afford that. But even places like Fantastic Sams or Cost Cutters can do a great job. Just make sure you know what you want. Don't be afriad to talk to a few different people to get an idea. And if you can find a picture, even better. The more you can tell your stylist, the better.

Oh, and don't forget: Stop the stylist if you don't like what she's doing. They are working for you, not against you. So if they start cutting something to short or the color isn't like the color in the picture, tell them.

I tried dying myhair with kool aid. so did my sister. It kind of worked, but it didn't really show up all that great. It washes out in the shower, so that's a negative. I wouldn't even bother dying your hair with kool aid because
1). IT SMELLS.
2). it makes your hair sticky
3). it's hard to brush
4). it washes out in the shower

if you really want to dye your hair, then by that hair dye that washes out, and then tell your mom you used kool aid and markers or something...wait, no! don't say that. but yeah, try that, or just ask your mom if you can dye it!
hope i helped...x333
