Kate's moving. How do I deal?!?!?

Question Posted Thursday July 6 2006, 4:35 pm

Right after I met Kate she was my very best friend. Now, Kate is moving. When I asked her parents why they had to leave, they had such stupid answers, and I'm going to miss her like crazy! I'm so upset that she's leaving me, it feels like the whole world is crashing down. Now what? How will I deal without her?

Friends moving is hard. You can still keep in touch with Kate. You can e-mail,call eachother,or IM.If she's just moving a few towns over, you could ask her parents if she could come visit you on the weekends(or you could visit her). You could have your parents ask Kate's parents why their moving,if their not giving you good answers.

You can always email, and im her.
You can talk through myspace or xanga.
If she dosen't have one, make her one!

you can also write to each other.
Maybe get like, web cams and you can talk over them.
Or digital cameras to send pictures?
Hope this helps

well you cant stop them from moving. sooo what you do is email, IM, myspace, youtube, talk on the phone, write letters, and visit one another as often as possible so you dont grow apart.if shes moving out of state, then try and talk to her on the phone everday plus somehow on the computer.

I know how you feel..my best friend moved like to the other side of the united states. You just have to keep in touch and visit eachother a lot. Soon enough it will feel like she never left!
Good luck :)

Oh I'm so sorry that your best friend is moving away, I've never had a bestfriend leave me like that. I'm also sorry her parents didnt give you legit answers, maybe have your mom or dad ask them, so atleast you can have some closure. I hope you had more friends, other than her, if not, try making more, I know thats easier said than done for some people, but its the best I can offer you. Try to stay in touch, write her, phone her, do what you can. Just cause shes moving doesnt mean you still cant communicate.
