is she for real?
hello, this is Jackie here. I have a problem. I am confused... there is this boy, I like him and from what I can tell, he likes me. I am 14 and he is a little older. This weekend this boy, my sister and another boy went to a community swimming pool. We sat next to eachother, he put his arm around me, and we held hands. after that I went home and soon I got a call from some girl saying that she was the boys new girl friend and that I need to stay away from him now. and I'm not sure if she's for real, or just being mean? I think that it could be this girl who's friends with him, that I made a comment about me not liking. So maybe she found out and knows that I like him, and wanted to get me back. I'm not sure. what do you think? Please help i rate well

Shes just messing with your head. If he had a girlfriend he wouldnt be macking on you. And she obviously saw you guys hanging out or she wouldnt have known to call. ew a total stalker right? I think you should tell this guy that she called and what she said so he can handle it. If they really are dating then back off from the guy, cuz that means hes a player anyway. And if not then hell probably wanna deal with the girl whos claiming to be his.

I think the boy definately likes you or he would not put his arm around you or hold your hand. But if he is with some other girl now, that makes him a dick.

Well, he definitely likes you. Thats obvious. It is possible that she is just trying to get you back, but maybe she really is telling the truth.
The best thing to do is just to flat out ask him. If he likes you, then its not like you have to worry about feeling embarrassed. Just simply ask him if he's dating anyone, and if he is then thats pretty messed up. He led you on, and he shouldn't have done that if he had no intentions of persuing his actions.

you NEED to talk to this guy you like. ask him if he has a girlfriend. tell him about the call, and tell him if he had a girlfriend and messed around with you, he better get himself straight, cuz otherwise he'll never have another girlfriend. you need to let him know that hes not going to get away with anything.

i think you need to confront the guy- not this bimbo girl. she very well might have no idea what it is that shes talking about. at such a young age as yours though, she might for real think that shes going out with him when shes really not. just check it out with him- i doubt hes playin you for another girl, or vice versa- but honey if he is- you need to drop him as quick as you can. sorry to be negative- just tryin to help. good luck and IM me if you need more help on this.
