okay well i weigh around 117 pounds and im about, 5'4. I am turning 15 this year. I am convinced that im fat, i hate myself for it too, i watch what i eat 24/7 and even though people tell me im not, i still feel that i am. I am probley one of the most self concious people. so i guess im asking about what i should weigh
Christine1993 answered Monday May 22 2006, 9:33 pm: ok ... go to google and type in 'calculate your weight' and if you are at a risk of being overweight or are then... but it depends how old you are.. i think your only only 2 or three pounds that you could lose.. then you will be at your healthy weight.. because i took the weight calculator.. and against my age.. and weight.. i only have to lose 8 pounds... to get to my healthy weight.. but i am only 5" and you are four inches taller than me. You should NOT be worrying about your weight; if you really are concerned, you may have a disorder called anorexia. Hopefully you already know, but this is a disease of the mind that alters what you are seeing in reality when you look in the mirror. By health wise, you are in no way obese. You are at a healthy weight and you actually have some room to gain. My best advice is to accept yourself, or have a doctor check you out! You will probably get this same answer though =/

ask_kara answered Monday May 22 2006, 6:23 pm: Hi there.I couldn't help but read your question and it really made me think.I have been self-concious about my weight many times.I mean who doesn't??I am forteen too and I weigh about 119.Now,I tried going on a diet and that didn't work.All of my friends said that I wasn't fat,but I still felt like I was.So then I started skipping every other meal,and gradully the weight came off.But then I started getting these really bad headaches.Then one day in PE I just fainted.I was brought to the hostiptal and force fed.The docter said that I had been skipping my meals and that that wasnt healthy.I really scared all of my friends,and family.And I decided that I was at the right weight level I was suppose to be at my age.So,yes I believe that your at your right weight level.But,if you think your fat,then I would suggest exciesing more,maybe even going to the Gym and few times a week.But other then that,your weight sounds pretty normal to me!So Good Luck!

Yes,I did.But I went back to my orginal weight.And that was the weight I was suppose to be at.117 for your age is normal.But like I said before if you still feel fat after reading my answers then you should try exercising more,and maybe going to the Gym occasinally.Maybe even running in the morning.But to me your weight is where it's suppose to be,and if you think your fat just excerise more!It will build muscules,and make you healthy in the process.If you have anymore Q's please just ask and I will help the best I can.
loves2shop86 answered Monday May 22 2006, 6:20 pm: you are deffinitely not fat at all! i can't believe you think that! i'm 5'3 and 113 pounds and i'm one of the skinniest people i know (and all my best friends are twigs too)! my little 14 year old sister is the same weight and height as you and she looks great, so i know you do too!
it's normal for a girl your age to feel this way... you are still learning to love your body and love yourself for who you are. there is nothing you need to do about your weight, because it is ideal! if you are any skinnier, you wouldn't look good... you would be skin and bones, with no curves whatsoever! what you should be doing is reassuring yourself everyday that you look good until you learn to love yourself. look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are beautiful and look great... even if you don't think that at first, eventually you will believe it and be truly happy! :) many girls would kill for your body, so stop freaking out! I weigh 9 1/2 stone and do alot of exersizing ( i have horses) but aslong as ur exersizing it dusnt matyer.
Remember, if anybody critisises you about your weight don't take it to heart. just tell them to stick there comments where the sun don't shine!
