How do I get over him?
Ok, so there is this guy that I really like and he knows that I like him and about 5 or 6 months ago I asked him out and he said that he would think about it and he never gave me an answer. Recently he told his friends that i was ugly and he would never go out with me. So now I want to get over him. How can I do that?

But you know summer is coming up. So you might get over him pretty easily now.
But to get to see other guys without this guy you liked for a while out of your mind. You should hang out with some friends.

here, go to this site. i know getting over someone sucks and is hard, but dont worry. it will happen and you will move on. he sounds like a real jerk [ im sorry, but he does ] and i think [actually, i know ] you deserve better than that, and you knwo that. you shouldnt have to go through with dealing like someone like that. to get over him, you cant just want you. your have to feel like you NEED too. do those things that you used to love to do, but lost the time or whatever. hang with the people who really care about you, and love you for you. Okay. Guys can be real dicks sometimes. I want you to try and forget about him. Get occupied with other things, such as your schoolwork, then you'll be too busy to think about him. You can join a fun sport, or an activity, that way, when your having fun you won't think about him. Are there any birthdays coming up? Plan a surprise party. When your planning something, you tend to forget about other issues. Hope this helps and good luck.

the problem is, you cant just get over him. i mean, if you really like (or liked) this guy, hes not just gonna go away. and thats going to be tough, but you will meeet someone new, who is worth your time. and who likes you, and wants to go out with you. you just have to wait.

Wow, this guy is such a jerk! It's good that you realize that he isn't worth liking, because he really isn't.
The number one mistake people make in situations like these is sitting around dwelling on how to "win him" or thinking of what could have been. Don't do that. Hang out with your friends. Take up a new hobby. Do what you love.
It might not be easy getting over someone, but not dwelling on it makes it a lot easier and less painful. I'm not saying that you should keep your feelings bottled up, though; Cry if you need to. Talk to a friend or family member that you trust.
Oh yeah, another thing: don't be mean, or try to get revenge on, this boy. Doing those just shows that you're still hung up on what he did to you.
Oh yes, one last thing: DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT let what this guy said about you hurt your self-confidence. Who cares about what this idiot said? It's untrue and immature. There are so many more guys out there who are so much better than this guy. He doesn't deserve you, girl.

its very difficult to get over someone so allow yourself time to heal.if you need to cry,cry . what he said about you was very cruel. you deserve so much better and dont worry - soon you will see that to. for the moment,stay with the pain and soon you will feel it get less and less day by day! good luck!

Well, why would you want to date someone who had no respect for you? What he said was really mean and hurtful. Realize that you'd never want that in a guy and try to find a guy who will appreciate you. I mean, even if this jerk came up to you at this point and said nevermind I want to date you, do you really think it would go well with the insecurity that he might think you're ugly in the back of your mind? He's just the totally wrong guy. Feel lucky that you didn't get stuck with a superficial jerk like him.
