yes. if your parents never had kids, chances are you wont either. anyways im sure there is some genetic predisposition, but the same can be said for alcoholism and many children of alcoholics dont become alcoholics themselves. you might just want to be more carefull, but then stuff like the sun and microvaves etc affect fertility as well so theres really no telling.

To some degree, fertility DOES run in families, but there are so many other (and more significant) factors involved. There is no way you can predict how you will be when you get older until the time comes. Just take care of your body and you'll get the best results your body can provide.

The only aspect of fertility that runs in families is fraternal twins, and on the females side only. This means that two eggs were released at a single cycle of ovulation, and two eggs were fertilized by separate sperm.

The majority of females of child bearing age are naturally fertile for 3-4 days every month. It has nothing to do with the number of children our Mother's had, planned or unplanned.

It just means that your Mother didn't use birth control or the method that she used was ineffective.

No, just because she had three kids doesnt mean you will have three kids or more. It's all a matter of chance. It depends on if the sperm gets fertilized, how many times you have sex, etc. And like you said things can happen unplanned...so no, it does not run in the family.
