alright kids, well my teeth are horribly yellow, like, becoming greenish on the top of them. i know this sounds totally sick but what can i do to change this. don't say go to a dentist because my parents keeps forgetting. so what are some things i can do on my own for this?
Thief answered Wednesday May 3 2006, 12:41 am: well, you should push the dentist issue to your parents and constantly remind them or else tell them you'll need EXPENSIVE treatment the more they wait. Parents don't really like spending on thier kids, but still. you shoulda brushed your teeth, if you have then i understand. My advice would be to brush a lil more and use scope and or any other mouth wash. good luck man [ Thief's advice column | Ask Thief A Question ]
TinkerbellsHelp answered Monday May 1 2006, 8:11 pm: Uh oh! Sounds bad. Do you brush your teeth? If not, start! And do it at least 3 times a day for your case. Definetly bug your parents about going to the dentist. There is this thing called Green Stain. But its very uncommon and more found in young children.. like toddlers. It may be from exposure to metals.
orphans answered Monday May 1 2006, 7:22 am: At this stage, you can't really do anything on your own. Because if you keep waiting and your parents keep forgetting, your teeth are going to rot out. I've seen it happen. So, I would walk right up to your parents right now and say, I need to go to the denist. Write it down so you don't forget what day your appointment is. I know this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I think it's the best thing you could do if you want to fix your teeth. Sorry, if I didn't help. :) [ orphans's advice column | Ask orphans A Question ]
Razhie answered Sunday April 30 2006, 11:47 pm: You can go to the dentist on your own.
At this point the state of your teeth is extreme, you could have serious issues without a professional's input. A bit of yellowing could certainly be improved by the advice you are getting from others here, but green, come-on hun, that isn't okay! So stop worrying and just make it happen, beg your parents, ask another adult friend to take you, call a damn cab, but get yourself to a dentist. [ Razhie's advice column | Ask Razhie A Question ]
Vanity answered Sunday April 30 2006, 11:26 pm: You need to go to the dentist and have them cleaned and looked at. that will make the biggest difference. Get on your parents' ass about it. Show them your teeth if you need to.
Until then, make sure you brush them twice a day (tongue included). Do not overbrush and be very careful about over using whitening products. You'll actually make your teeth worse. Use a mouthwash (crest or listerine) between meals and after brushings. [ Vanity's advice column | Ask Vanity A Question ]
MummuM answered Sunday April 30 2006, 11:13 pm: Fristly, you should brush your teeth everyday; 4 times a day, actually. In the morning when you get up, after lunch, after supper and of course, before you go to bed.
Secondly, you can get your teeth whiter by mixing up some baking soda and salt; You just put 1/4 of salt in a little bottle, then the rest is baking soda. It works really well and your teeth will start to become really white. ♥ [ MummuM's advice column | Ask MummuM A Question ]
thats.smelly.good answered Sunday April 30 2006, 10:58 pm: maybe you should try to brush your teeth. your teeth are a very important thing in your young little life. or maybe you should get those whiteing strips for your teeth.
Sporkster answered Sunday April 30 2006, 10:52 pm: First off, make sure you brush your teeth thrice a day with a whitening paste.
Secondly, eliminate staining drinks such as coffee, tea, dark sodas, etc., from your diet.
You can also try whitening strips from Crest.
It would be best for you to see a dentist about this, but I can understand the whole parent issue. Just try to remind them anytime they're near a phonebook and phone.
