TAhis brings back memories of being 16 a year ago a boy gave me a hickie for a joke he gave me 3 of them and my mum was so annoyed. It does not hurt at all it just feels like someones sucked on your neck and it first of all goes red and then purple and then it lasts so long i had to walk about with it for about 4 or 5 weeks and it annoyed me so much afterwards because i wanted it to go away. I sugest if you want a hickie you make sure its small and not big one and don't let him do it too much. A lot of times people don't even notice until they look in the mirror. Talk about an awful surprise. Try sucking really hard on your own skin for a second. Don't do it for very long, or in a particularly sensitive area, or you'll give yourself a hickey, but you'll get an idea for what it feels like.

Good old hickies..gotta love them...neway as long as you suck lightly or he sucks lightly it won't hurt. Actually if you are in the mood it feels really good and gets you in the mood the only problem is that it's there for a while so make sure you aren't going to be embarressed about who gave it to you because everyone will be seeing it if it's on your neck. My trick was i gave them to my girls on their stomach and chest areas lol! completely hidden

okay, i am the queen of hickies. and from what i experience if the guy sucks too hard and your not in the mood, it hurts like a bitch, but if your in the mood and the guy doesnt suck too hard, but a very nice and passionate suck then you dont have to worry, it wont hurt...

Nah, it doesn't hurt. The mark is created because the capillaries (tiny blood vessels) are being brought to the surface. Watch it though, especially if the hicky is in an interesting place, because they usually don't fade for 1-2 weeks, depending on how dark it was originally.
