sizzlinmandolin answered Monday March 27 2006, 7:47 pm: Okay. NEVER lie to a doctor no matter what. Always tell them everything. You could really be harming yourself by lying whether you think so or not. Discharge is very normal. Doctors need to know everything so that they can help you so tell them. No matter how much temporary embarassment it will cause you, you could have serious health problems in the future from lying which, unlike a little embarassment, may not go away.
All that said, I'm sure that you're fine. You probably just got a bad cold. If you aren't sexually active there's no need to worry about AIDS or other STD's. Just relax and make sure to tell the truth next time. Good luck :) [ sizzlinmandolin's advice column | Ask sizzlinmandolin A Question ]
Xo_Blondii_oX answered Monday March 27 2006, 3:59 pm: Ok first off calm down.. If anything is wrong they will be able to tell through your blood and urine test whether you actually told them the truth or not. I just went through the same stuff and they were able to tell what was wrong even tho i lied about some stuff bcuz of my mom sitting there. So just calm down and wait. If its really bothering talk to your mom and tell her the truth. GOOD LUCK!! [ Xo_Blondii_oX's advice column | Ask Xo_Blondii_oX A Question ]
OllieJ answered Monday March 27 2006, 3:45 pm: Ask to talk to your doctor privately, so s/he can answer ALL your questions, not just the ones you'll ask in front of your mom. Tell her everything. Most doctors won't disclose information you've shared to your parents unless it is life-threatening. Ask about this policy before you ask other questions though so you can be totally at ease. xcheerbabex108 answered Monday March 27 2006, 2:35 pm: 1) Calm down
Dear lord.
2) Relax. Don't lie. If you lie, then well...it's just not good.
3) There's nothing wrong. Why? may you ask? Well, you're still a virgin, and that's okay. Yea- you could have AIDS, but it's really, really, really doubtful. So, just wait for the tests to come back. I'm almost positive that the tests will come back normal. But don't freak out. Fellow advicenators may not appreciate it.
corvin answered Monday March 27 2006, 2:27 pm: As the other answer told you, there's really nothing to worry about. It is however shocking that in this day and age people are still panicking about AIDs and not knowing what it is.
orphans answered Monday March 27 2006, 1:57 pm: firstly calm down, im sure that there is nothing seriously wrong with you, white discharge is normal so dont worry about that. perhaps you just have an infection. going to the hospital was probably the best thing to do as they will be able to find out what is wrong. sit tight and wait until you get the tests back and from then on if there is something wrong the doctors will help you. talking to your mum will help you with tour worries aswell, im sure she knows how you feel. i hope this helps.
