I'm 13 and I've liked this guy for a year now, and I'm beginning to wonder whether I should tell him I like him. I doubt he likes me back in "that way", but I'm 99.99999...% sure that he likes me as a friend. We're good friends. Not like unseparably devoted best friends, but we talk a lot. I'm not sure whether telling him how I feel is a good idea. Can anyone give me their thoughts?

I had the same problem; I told the guy i liked, and the next day he asked me out.
I'm not saying your guy is going to ask you out, I'm saying if you have feelings for a guy, tell him. I mean you got a 50 50 chance of him liking you back, and if you don't you might go one thru life never knowing if he felt the same.

A year is a really long time so I think you should tell him. You have nothing to lose.And don't think bad thoughts because if you think positive it's more likely to happen.I think he will like you back because a year is a long time and in that year he prob. learned alot about you and you learned alot about him so I think it will all work out ♥

i suggest you come out to him. i also am sharing the same experience with you, that makes it even better. i'm not trying to get into my life but i also liked this boy since last MARCH and i still LOOOVE him today. what i'm trying to say is that it's REALLY HARD to come out to someone when they've only seen you as a "friend" or nothing more. since you guys are REALLY GOOD FRIENDS then that makes it a whole lot harder to be honest with you. but a whole lot easier in a weird sort of way!!! since your not sure then go for it!!!!!!! i DOUBT that he'll say NO! and plus it's easier just to let EVERYTHING out so you won't have to carry this misery throughout another whole year. WOOOOOOOH! hold on dont just tell him. If he is your best friends suddenly telling him that could be a real shock maybe even scare him away. You need to flirt a little and see how he reacts.If he flirts back or smiles or something then continue to flirt (not too much flirt like every other day)for about a week then, when your ready, tell him.

Just be honest with him. You could say something like. "We've been good friend for a while now, and seem to get along well. I Don't want to ruin our friendship, but I feel there could be something more developing between us. How do you feel?" Then listen, and see what he says. If he says he feels the same way, then you know. If he says he doesn't you can say something like "Thats fine, I just didn't want to feel like I was leading you on in any way" You save face either way and it doesn't have to ruin the friendship at all

tell him. you don't want to regret it. you never know, he may like you too but is too shy to say anything & plus he might not know you like him. a year is a pretty long time, so i think it'd be a good idea to tell him. you never want to regret anything & you wouldn't feel so great if you never told him & he went out with some girl.
