I need some help. I need to know how to motivate myself to do homework and study. I could be getting excellent grades right now because I know I'm capable. I just put off studying all the time and doing homework.

Do this by doing good work delay tactics, such as tidying your desk, cleaning your schoolbag, answering important emails or flicking through your text books. Doing these things when you should actually be doing homework or studying gets you into a working state of mind, so you'll find it much easier to start doing work. and i`m getting ready to go to college and i slacked off a lot of my highschool career and its really affecting what schools i will or won`t get into. so think of your future, what you wanna do where you wanna go. because without good grades it makes your future a lot harder. here2help1143 answered Friday March 10 2006, 5:31 pm: Not sure if this will help or not,but try to get on the honor roll, and i'm not sure how your parents are,but if they are always on your back about studying and stuff, try to prove them wrong and that you can do it,you will gain more freedom from their parents if they know that you can handle things on your own without them asking you to do anything. hope this helps!!
