I have to do a community service project for school and I can't think of anything to do. People are already doing the whole nursing home scene; and like donating stuff to charity. Anyone got any clever ideas? Thank kiddos =]

Or if there's something going on in your city that you don't agree with (for an example maybe bus fares are too expensive for people who need it like the homeless or whatever, or maybe your city is in desperate need of a homeless or battered womens shetler) start a petition about it, put up fliers, tell the mayor. Raise awareness. [ Notso's advice column | Ask Notso A Question ]
Advisor answered Friday February 17 2006, 12:26 am: i think this is rather witty, community service right? like helping someone or something in your community? i dont know how old you are but you could take a small group of kids younger than you to go watch a movie at the theatre obviously you would have to sort kids out like how many movies do you see in a month and however sees the smallest amount gather them up and take them. get mom and dad to put down the money after all its for a good cause :-D and since you being the oldest you would have to go to make sure everything went smoothly ha. But if your like 12 that might not work. oh yeah G rated only, no bloody killing parents might not go for that good luck! 2 words= underprivileged youngsters! Or you can voleenter at a soup kitchen, homeless shelter, or a shelter for battered women.
