my cat is very mean. she has weird hair ball on her back. i tried having her shaved but she bites everyone. any body know what these things are on her back and how to get them off? I rate 5's

Brush it with a certain brush you can get at like petsmart or whatever. it has to have certain bristles so no regular hairbrushes. buy cat food that says for the healthy fur coat. my cat used to have those and this is what we did and... now she doesnt have them. go figure lol. hope i helped! Patron_saint_of_Squirrels answered Friday January 27 2006, 10:20 pm: Our cat gets thoes, my mom says it's just matted hair. my mom just cuts it off, and lets it grow back, but i would sugguest going to a groomers for your cat, so they can do it, and follow their instructions on how to preven them. Mainly, just brush her reguarly, and give her baths. then again, my cat bites me when we give her baths...so....brush her =oP

I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but you treat your cat like its your posession. And no wonder she's trying to bite people! She's probably just having some fur problems. buy a cat brush, in the pet isle of most grocery stores, and brush her fur. Do NOT use a regular hair brush, it must be a cat brush with special type of bristles. Buy some special food, particularly that says its for "A healthy Fur Coat." If that doesn't work, go to the vet.
