[DO NOT RECOMMEND NAIR OR HAIR REMOVING LIQUIDS] My uncle did that and it scared his chest because it burned it.. Its not ment for those areas.. ♥ Dez [ ThugGirl041790's advice column | Ask ThugGirl041790 A Question ]
whabit answered Thursday January 26 2006, 7:02 am: Hi there! :o) ... mmmm rather not shave... go for waxing!! (it hurts like a bitch, but its only a quick stinging sensation...) the hair takes longer to grow back and your skin feels smoother!
secretxlover7 answered Thursday January 26 2006, 1:52 am: forget nair...it burns, it's uncomfortable..just forget it.
veet is really good though (same idea as nair, but better). it's easy, fairly fast, and doesn't hurt at all. the only downside is that it can smell like burning hair and that's a little gross...it's not that bad or anything.
also, since you do have sensitive skin you should invest in a really good moisturizer for after shaving or whatever else you decide to do. (forget the baby oil, think good lotion - like with vitamin e)
SaturnMoonie answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 11:49 pm: Yeah Nair is good I agree with everyone who said this..though it smells aweful. If you still want to shave, I suggest putting lotion after, or coco butter or something like that (again people already mentioned this...but we can't ALL be wrong) oh and FYI...ur happy trail...I call it a treasure trail ;) [ SaturnMoonie's advice column | Ask SaturnMoonie A Question ]
DancinCutie08 answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 7:38 pm: well i know that my dad uses nair.. you leave it on for like 5 min and then wash it off and apparently it works.. it takse all the hair away without shaving [ DancinCutie08's advice column | Ask DancinCutie08 A Question ]
vintagerose answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 6:59 pm: shaving is tedious and it leaves irritation, just use nair for your chest and stomach, it might be a pink bottle, but it works w/o irritation.
but if you still want to just shave, pile on lotion or body butter right after you get ot of the shower
also when u put the shaving cream on (which i hope you do, cuz it helps stopn razor burn, and use that mosturizing stuff) let it sit there for a while longer so it mosturises the skin [ vintagerose's advice column | Ask vintagerose A Question ]
MikeCFT answered Wednesday January 25 2006, 6:51 pm: Try to not shave as often if you are shaving now. When I shave my body, I do it about every 5-6 days and use plenty of moisturizer all the time. Try putting baby oil on your skin immediately after you get out of the shower. [ MikeCFT's advice column | Ask MikeCFT A Question ]
