yes its possible..

because sports and sex both can mess up your cycle inside and your period could be irregular amd come late.

Yeah, it's possible. If you're active in sports.. you're likely not to get your period or be late sometimes.

yes. Are you sexually active? Have you been sick or on medication? If you are really concerned about this see a doctor or visit the nearest health clinic or just call for some advice. I have heard that being active and involved in sports can cause your body to react in such a way.

Fabulous question. Yes. If your body fat is low enough, or if you're stressed, you may skip a period. Or, if you're young, you may skip then anyway until your period finds its groove.

ScratchesOnTheWall answered Sunday January 8 2006, 5:11 pm:
yeah definately. especially if you've only started within say the last year or have been stressed in some way. You could just be a bit late or generally irregular. The pill can regulate your periods if it's a problem but if not, nothing to worry about so long as you're not having unprotected sex.

♥ Its very possible but i would still keep track of how long you missed it and ones you might miss after that. It could be serious later, but dont worry about it now. Your just a normal girl!

Mackenzie answered Sunday January 8 2006, 1:24 pm:
Definitely. It's especially common amongst teenagers and "newbies", if you will. Some girls who participate in lots of sports or that exercise frequently may actually stop menstruating regularly. Another thing to consider: have you been really stressed lately? Stress is another reason someone might skip their cycle. Also, eating disorders can cause this, definitely. What happens is, when a female is eating very little and getting thinner and thinner, Amenorrhea [the medical term for no periods] might set in. Here's a thought for ya: an imbalance in some hormone levels can also lead to missed cycles or irregular bleeding. Just a few reasons I can come up with to justify this.

Yea thats very common when your active like that. I know alot of my friends have skipped when they are too stressed or doing a lot of sports that month, and I have too. So dont worry about it. You should be glad now that you know theres nothing wrong, no having to go through the trouble of your period this month, yay. haha.

It's common to skip periods if you do heavy activity, have been very stressed or have had a change in your routine. It's nothing to worry about but if you need some more advice then I suggest you speak to your doctor, he/she should be able to reassure you.
